"Jungkoooooooook" I heard my mom shouting from the kitchen, trying to wake me up. Seriously, who needs an alarm clock when you have a mom who wakes up earlier than a rooster?
"Aish!" I got up and went to the bathroom and took a shower. I threw up a black pants and wear white t-shirt. Typical me, they say.
Yes, I'm not wearing a school uniform because I'm not going to school today. Today is the day I'll move to Seoul to study in BigHit High. I don't know what kind of crap school it is again. I hate transferring. I just have to make another friends and I'm bad at it. It took me long time to find friends in my previous school and here I am again. I just sighed and went down to the kitchen.
I saw my mom preparing for my breakfast. My mom notice me and hug me tightly. She didn't say a word. I didn't too. I know already that she's just gonna miss me and so I am. Sadly, I'm going to Seoul all by myself. I'll leave my mom here with my little sister (6 years old), as she doesn't want to leave this house because it has a lot of great memories with my father. He just died last year and I know my mom still hasn't moved on yet. I wanted to comfort her but she always says she's okay. I know she's lying and she just doesn't want me to worry. As much as I want to comfort her, I just did what she wanted. Now I feel bad that I needed to leave them.
It was my grandmother who lives overseas. She told me to study in one of the greatest school in Seoul and she will be the one paying for my tuition. We're not rich so I'm really grateful that my grandmother from my father's side wanted to help my mom pay for my our tuition fee. It's not like we couldn't afford school but my grandmother wants us to study in one of the best school until college. My mom agreed to it. It's not that I don't want this, but I just don't wanna leave this place. My life is here. My family is here.
I finished eating breakfast with my mom. We didn't speak a word during breakfast. She doesn't want to say anything as she will just burst into tears.
I went upstairs and got my things, ready to move to Seoul."Mom" I said in worried tone. "I-"
"Son..." my mom cut me off. "I don't want to lose you. Please take care and visit us here always. I'll miss you, Jungkook." Now my mom couldn't help but cry hard. Seeing my mom in such state, I cried too. I just hugged her to comfort her.
"Mom, I promise, I'll just go to Seoul. I won't ever leave you." I assured my mom. "And please give this to Jungmi when she woke up." I gave her a letter because my sister is still sleeping at this hour.
"I love you mom".
"I love you Jungkook. Always visit us, okay?"
"Yes mom. I promise." I bid a goodbye to her and kissed her cheek. "Bye mom"----------------
"Seoul!" I said the moment I stepped out of the plane. I've always wanted to go here and roam around but I never planned to live here. Well, of course if I have to live here with my family, I will.
I went to this BigHit High to enroll myself. I headed to the office to get my schedule.
"Here, Jungkook" the principal said as she handed me the paper. "That's your schedule. Don't worry, I'll ask someone nice to tour you around here tomorrow. You can go now." the principal said.
"Thank you." I bowed and headed outside.
I was about to leave the school when I bumped into someone.
"Ouch!" The man said looking annoyed. "Hey look where you go! You're in a public place where people are around!" the man complained coldly.
