I hesitate "who is venom?" I'm trying to pull it off, venom will give me shit for this later.
"your symbiote friend, from the life foundation? I asked your friend Anne, she told me everything" Tony said, my legs are shaking, for some reason I'm scared and silent. "its okay I'm not going to take him away if that's what your thinking"
"why do you want to meet him?"
"we think you two would be a good part of the team, you'd live here in the Avenger's tower, free of charge, and free meals, doesn't it sound amazing?"
we're sure there's something he's not telling us
I nod.
"is he talking to you right now?" Tony asks whether it was smart or dumb I just nod. "so venom what do you think about being part of the Avengers?"
"we don't think we're going to join"
"sorry, what?" stark says, I worry. I can't tell what either of them is thinking yet they can both see into my head, its beyond anxiety-inducing, this wasn't supposed to go like this.
"w-what if we still live at home but-but we help you guys if you need help?" its the only compromise i could think of.
"fine" stark says, not letting venom say anything, I can tell he's mad but I'm more afraid of stark. "come back tomorrow and well have you sign a contract, while you and your symbiote are amazing, you still need training, Peter will help you out" he waves me off.
peter and I go down the elevator, the whole time he's talking about how cool being an Avenger is, even though he doesn't even live near here, we get to the bottom and he waves saying "bye Mr. Brock!"
I get on my motorcycle, its cold when venom is mad at me, its almost as he disappears, and it's awfully cold and lonely.
