(Third POV)

The small coffee shop was empty today, as always.

(Y/n) studies in the shop every Wednesday for her English class, in which she was failing.

Her long (h/c) colored hair was pulled up into a high ponytail, as it always was when she wanted to concentrate. Her (e/c) orbs sparkled with determination as her eyes scanned the document on her laptop.

She was a genuinely beautiful woman.

"It's done!" she laughed.

(Y/n) POV)

"It's finally done!" I cheer, pushing the chair behind me a good foot back before a small chuckle sounded from the table in the corner, furthest from my table.

The person's face wasn't facing me, but their figure screamed male. His hair was a soft gold and he wore a light yellow flannel (Which framed his shoulders quite nicely,)  along with a black  jacket draped over the back of his chair.

"O-oh I'm sorry sir! I didn't mean to bother you!" I say panic in my tone before quickly murmuring "I didn't even notice you were here"

But, he heard me.

"It's okay, you never have" He laughed again. "You've been working on that essay for quite a while now, haven't you?"

I stood there, red in the face, shoulders hunched up in embarrassment. "I-I guess I have..."

"Ha! I don't blame you for not noticing me sweetheart, I never said anything anyways"

"That doesn't give me a reason to not feel bad!" I snap as I begin to pack up my computer and papers. "I mean I've been coming here for a year now, and I never  noticed you!"

The (F/c) bag I had brought with me was now packed up as we continued our conversation.

"Well, I guess I have to go now..." I mutter as I swing one strap of my bag over my shoulder. "So... I guess I'll see you later?"

The male turned around for the first time and must I say, he was stunning.

He had an eye patch over his right eye and the left eye was a golden-blue color. His jawline was sharp, along with his chin. And his ears were pierced and slightly pointed.

"Yeah, Later." He smirked, giving me a finger gun.

"PACIFICA! I'M HOME!" I yell as I close the front door of the Northwest Mansion.

There was no answer.

"I HAVE NEW CLOTHES!" That would get her out.

There still was no answer.

"PACI?"

I sigh and head upstairs, to my oversized room, where I throw my bag on my bed before picking a book off of the bookshelf and lounging in my hammock.

"That guy..." I mumble, my mind going back to the coffee shop. I could've sworn when he finger-gunned me his hand gave off a soft hue of blue.

I shake my head and open my book. A small paper floats to the ground.

I pick up the paper and read it.
