Miraculous Ball

Chapter 4

The lights were flashing quickly on and off as they took many photos of some of Paris's biggest celebrities. The next limo pulled up with Penny coming out of the drivers seat and went to open the door revealing Jagged Stone. They both walked down the red carpet,arms linked with each waving to the interviewers and photographers. After a quick interview they quickly went inside the building.

Ladybug was waiting from above the rooftops on a nearby building. She was watching the scene from above trying to learn what to do on the red carpet. She was a superhero! She wasn't meant to be doing these types of stuff! But here she was,super nervous to go to the biggest party of the year with Paris's biggest celebs! She sighed. When was Chat going to show up? She was supposed to wait for him here because they were meant to walk in together. The allocated time for them was close! What if he didn't show up! He was the one that wanted to do it!
Ladybug suddenly felt warm arms embrace from behind. She smiled then quickly turned away, facing him.
" Hello M' Lady. Very nice attire you have on you"
She smiled.
" Not to bad yourself Chat"
She was lying. He looked awesome. The suit he was wearing looked very close to the real thing! Though she never admit it to Chat noir,Ladybug thought he was quite handsome. She nearly blushed and puked at the very thought.
" Ready to walk the red carpet M' Lady?"
Ladybug nodded and they both jumped off the roof.

" This is Amanda from the Paris Gossip here at the Paris annual Ball reporting live from the scene waiting for our next celebs to come walking down the carpet! OMG! Here the come! Paris's very own two super heros,Ladybug and Chat Noir!"
The two heros landed gracefully on the edge of the carpet and bowed. The crowd was going crazy!
Chat linked his arm around hers, which gave her a bit of a suprise but they started walking so she just let it happen. Cameras were flashing brightly hurting her eyes. She saw Chat waving and started doing that to. Damn Chat was good at the red carpet.
They neared the end of the carpet. Finally Ladybug thought, relieved at the thought of going inside and away from the reporters. But then she saw the interviewers. In her head was a mental groan. Chat looked ready for the interview. Let him answer it she thought.
" Do you want me to answer the questions LB?" as if he read her thoughts.
She nodded. At last he understood.
They neared the interviewer. It was the snappy,snobby woman they met the other day. This as going to be annoying.
" OMG,you two are just the cutest couple ever! Don't you agree?"
Chat looked down back at her and shook his head" Were not a couple"
She winked at him" Sure you aren't" with a time that said that she didn't believe that for a second.
Chat sensed that.
" Um sorry Miz but if you don't mind we would like to go inside please"
" Ladybug do you have anything to say about this? You've been very quiet. OMG! Is it true!!! See I knew it!" Her screeching voice was very loud.
Ladybug gulped. She would have to answer this.
" Sorry Miz but we don't want to answer any questions"
And with that they both left and entered the building without looking back.
The reporter glared. Why wouldn't they answer her questions?
Somewhere far from there a dark,big window opened up.
