i'm happy. happy to be getting out of the hell-hope of your town. happy to be seeing your brother after 3 years of emptiness. happy to be accepted into ufc.
i was finishing up my packing, when i checked my watch. 15 minutes until my train left. shit. it took me 10 minutes for my parents to drive me there, and i had to look for my oyster card anyway. i eventually dig out my oyster card just in time, and cram all of my stuff into their tiny grey smart car. i turn on capital on the radio, and my parents begin driving. i have 8 minutes. we pass the halfway, and take a left, parking just outside. i swipe my card, and only had to wait 23 seconds until the train arrived. i walked into the first class carriage, and sat on one of the four-seaters, plugging in my headphones.

yep, i made it just on time. are you picking me up?

of course! i'll meet you outside of waterloo, by the taxi ranks.

ok! i'm just going to take a quick nap, i'll text you when i'm off the train!

i was about to empty the dark realms of unconsciousness when i felt a finger tap my shoulder.
"hi! my names will, do you mind if i sit with you? i don't like sitting by myself in a empty carriage"Will has a Geordie accent, and he sat down opposite me, not waiting for a answer.
"ok!" i say, before closing my eyes.

it was only when will tapped me i woke up, groggy and refreshed.
"hey! it's time to get off!" he chirped.
"thanks?" i say.
i get past the gates, clearing my oyster card balance, and headed towards the taxi rank, texting georgie all the same.
when i got there, i saw an all too familiar face staring at me.
"georgie!" i say, hugging him.
"hey (y/n)! long time no see, eh?" he replied.
"too long," i say, hugging him.
"shall we get a cab?" he asks,"i'll pay!"
"thanks!"
"no problem!"
we got into the cab, chatting all the same.we finally arrived at georgie's apartment, and he opened the door, flopping onto the couch. i gracefullyflopped next to him, letting out a relieved sigh.
"i missed you," he said
"me too"
