Brave Face

When I'm around you I put on a brave face,

But when I'm alone all I seem to want to do is cry.

You say I am never alone but that is only how you see me,

But I am always alone,

Except for when you are near me.

I wish I wasn't so much like myself,

But that that is just how I was created.

I just wish I could be myself around you and you not think that something is wrong with me.

So therefore I always put up a brave face.
