It was taking them too long. Eren was becoming impatient and lashing out easily again. Who could blame him though? Not being about to hold or at least see the person he loved the most was torture. He didn't know for how long he could hold on. What if this really was a lost case? What if he never got to see Levi again? Eren made Levi hate him and he's painfully aware of that now. But he could fix it. He knew that once he talked to Levi, things would work out. They could set some boundaries and they could both take some couples therapy and that'll fix everything! Boom! They'll be happy, get married, have children, and die old together in a little house in the field. That's their happily ever after. But Eren can't do it alone. He can't do with with anyone other than Levi.

So now, Mikasa, Armin, and Eren were walking around 'trying' to find Levi. There was no way they would. Too many people. Too many places. It was nearly impossible to ever find him.

"What if we ask around? I still remember how Levis' uncle looks like. I could ask if they have seen him." Eren said.

Armin thought for a while and shook his head.

"But what if there's other Ackermans? They'll think we're after them and we could get hurt. Well, we would probably get killed."

"We can still try," Mikasa said, agreeing with Eren, "I can be the one to ask around. I just need you, Eren, to tell me how the uncle looks like. I guess I look like one of them so they won't think of me as a threat and help out. If I get to tell me where Levi and his uncle are then I'll talk to the midget about you and see if I can convince him. I can't promise he'll come back though."

That was enough for Eren to smile from ear to ear. That's why Mikasa was one of his good friends. She was always willing to help him. No matter the situation nor how stupid everything might be, she was always there.

"I guess that could work..." Armin looked down in thought. He still wasn't sure it would work. They are planning everything around the assumption that all the Ackermans' are together or in contact, but what if that isn't the case. What if they are trying to survive on their own? What if they don't even know where each other is how how they look like? If that were the case then the plan that Mikasa and Eren did is useless. It wouldn't work and it would put Mikasa in danger if she were to reveal herself to every person she talked to.

They needed another plan. They didn't have enough information to make it precise or for it to somewhat work out. If they were all in contact somehow then yeah, their plan at the moment could work, but if that wasn't then case then they would have to go all over the place and try to spot Levi or his uncle. But that could also not work if they're indoors all the time. They could be at a house or hotel, hiding and rarely ever going out for food and other necessities. It would take the years to find them. Maybe less if this whole situation stopped but Armin doubted Levi would ever go back after all the things Eren made him how through.

                         ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hey Kenny, once this is all over, could I live at your place for a while?"
Kenny stopped chewing his food and look at Levi, confusion written all over his face.
"You... Well, do whatever you want. I'm not there a lot so sure. Just don't make a mess and don't bring any people over." He looked away and began eating his food again. Still a little weirded out that Levi would ask him something like that.
"You really don't know me at all." He whispered, with a small smile on his face.
After they were done eating lunch, Levi got ready to leave. Being locked indoors for weeks was really not helping at all. He needed some 'fresh' air and walk around. He took anything that he needed and left after telling Kenny where he would be. Weirdly enough, it didn't feel like their life was being threatened. With the was they have been acting, it all seemed... normal. Not really because they didn't get along well but now they were acting more as a family and that was the weird part. Something that Levi forgot how it felt.
His parents were always out because of work or any other reason. They never wanted to see each other, but they never got a divorce. It wasn't for Levi. They just didn't have the time and energy to deal with it. So instead they ignored that and took their rings to a pawn shop. His father didn't care much about getting along with his only son because he was letting him live in a house with nice furniture and clothes in his closet. Levis' mother would be the one to 'take care' of him the most. They usually had one nice conversation a week and that was all Levi looked forward to. Those few minutes that he could talk to his mother. There were times where he went weeks without talking to her. But he would be okay with that. He could always talk to her the next week or the week after that.
"But now I can't even see a glimpse of her anymore..." Levi sat down at a park bench, staring off into the people walking by. He couldn't let his guard down again. Another one of those slip-ups and his life could be taken.
As Levi kept looking at all the people walking by, he noticed one that made him freeze. Someone that wasn't suppose to be anywhere near him. Someone that Levi thought he was never going to see again.
