Everyone was sitting in the great hall, waiting in anticipation for the large goblet to choose the champions. Each student over 17 was hoping for their name to be called out by Dumbledore. Every other student waited for the excitement of who would represent their school.

Albus stood up and addressed the crowd.

"Welcome, students of all schools. Today we pick the champions of this year's tri-wizard tournament."

He looked around the room for a moment before calling out, "Durmstrang!"

All of the boys of Durmstrang and I shouted a loud cheer. The goblet's fire turned red of a moment before spitting out a smoldering paper strip. Albus grabbed the paper, reading over the name, calling out,

"Viktor Krum!"

All of Durmstrang went into a fit of applause and cheers as Vikkie stood up; walking towards the teachers.

Albus then gestured to the girls all clad in blue. "Beauxbatons!"

The girls all clapped politely and a few let out some laughs, but they were very refined compared to Durmstrang.

The cup once again flamed red as it picked another champion. Albus grabbed the paper out of the air and called out,

"Fleur Delacour!"

I cheered loudly for my friend along with the Beaubatons students. I was so happy for her!

The goblet flamed red for what I assumed would be the last time, as it picked the last champion. Albus called out the name after a few moments,

"Cedric Diggory!"

I watched as he stood from the Hufflepuff table, and made his way to the door that my friends went through.

Albus cleared his throat. "Yes! Yes. Well done to our three champions, However! There is a brand new position that the tri-wizard tournament will be opening."

Students began to murmur among themselves, wondering what it could be that Dumbledore was announcing.

"This year, we will be choosing an extra judge; a student judge. He or she, will be chosen from any of our three schools. They will be on the ground with the champions; going through the tasks with them, in a way. Ah! The goblet has chosen!"

He read the name off of the slip of paper.

"Our last champion, is ALLISON POTTER!"

I smiled widely as the whole hall burst into applause. Standing, I received many highfives, pats on the back and cheers from my classmates.

When I made it through the door, Cedric, Viktor, and Fleur all looked up at me in confusion. Viktor stepped up first.

"Ally? What are you doing here?"

I smiled widely at him, jumping into an explanation.

"Albus said that there was a new position as a student judge. He said that they sort of go through the tasks with the champions and get chosen from any of the three schools. Vik I got chosen!"

He smiled widely at me and picked me up, spinning me in a circle. I laughed with him as he set me down. Fleur then ran over and hugged me tightly, muttering things in french about how proud of me she was.

Cedric came over and went to introduce himself and congratulate me by shaking me hand, but I just grabbed his hand and pulled him into a hug, saying, "I know we'll be good friends. No need to start with formalities."

When we pulled away he smiled at me. Then we heard the door open and close. I turned around to see if it was a teacher or something but was surprised to see Harry walking down the steps towards us. His face covered in shock.

He barely even made it down the stairs all the way before the doors banged open once again, this time with Albus, Igor, and Olympe rushing down the stairs towards him followed closely by the other teachers.

Harry back up towards us as Albus rushed at him.

"DID YOU PUT YOUR NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIRE HARRY!"

Harry shook his head profusely, saying no over and over again.

"Did you ask one of the older students to do it for you?" Albus asked next, somewhat more calm than before.

Again, Harry shook his head, saying he didn't do it. Olympe walked up behind Albus and said, "Obviously the boy is lying!"

Igor nodded his head, "I agree. How could he have been chosen had he not asked for an older student to put it in for him."

I decided to step in at that point in the conversation.
Walking up behind Harry, I wrapped my arm around his shoulder, offering him a comforting smile.

"Headmasters, Teachers, Barty, think rationally for a second. Why would Harry put his name in the goblet in the first place? He has expressed quite clearly that he wants no part in this tournament to many people since it was announced. Also, how would he even manage that? If there was and older student that did that, they would have come forward by now, and how would he get past the age line Albus put up?"

Everyone nodded, thinking it over. Everyone besides Mad-Eye Moody.
He looked at me with a hard expression. Raising an eyebrow he said,

"You seem to have put a lot of thought into this Potter. Are you sure YOU didn't put his name into the goblet?"

I smiled threateningly at him.
"If you have already forgotten Alastor, Harry only learned of my existence as his sister yesterday. And even then, you can ask anyone, I was in the woods with Charlie Weasley and Nate Black for the remainder of the day."

Many nodded at this.
Taking a step towards him, I continued.

"I also have been working closely with the Minister for years. It's my unofficial job to analyze situations like this. Now, are we going to get back to the issue, or stand here discussing why I know my brother is innocent?"

Albus cleared his throat and looked at Barty. Starting to murmur with him. I turned back to Harry, who shot me a grateful smile. I returned it and went to sit in one of the chairs by the fire. When I sat down, I saw Fleur and Cedric staring at me and Viktor chuckling as he sat next to me.

"What?" I asked out loud, confused as to why Fleur and Cedric were staring. Viktor rolled his eyes.

"They're staring because of what you did just now."

I made a face of realization as I hummed in response. Cedric seemed to realize that he was staring because he shook his head and said,

"How did you do that? You call them all by their first names AND you stood up to them. Also you work with the Minister!"

I smiled. "Yes, I do Ced. I've known all of these people for years, they trust me and I trust them. I end up being the mediator between them a lot though, just because they all trust me, but not each other." I chuckled at that. Ced and Fleur smiled at me.

Barty came over with Albus and Harry, tapping me on the shoulder.
"Harry must compete Ally. He was chosen by the goblet; he has no choice."

I smiled at him sadley. "I figured as much. I just hoped for it not to be true."

He nodded and left with Albus. I turned to Harry and the others.

"Promise me one thing, all of you."

They all nodded and looked at me.

"Promise me you won't get hurt. I know that the four of you will be competing against each other but I don't think I could loose any of you."

Everyone nodded and I hugged everyone in turn.

"Now," I smirked "Let the games begin."
