Samantha followed Mary and Anubis somewhat warily. After all how could she trust someone she'd just discovered was her killer. Peter had disappeared through the walls a while back. She'd have followed him but she was in the afterlife if you could really call it that and both Anubis and Mary refused to let her out of their sights. 'You could get lost!' Mary had said firmly. From what she could see of the place that she was in was just endless hallways with hundreds of doors. Everything started looking the same to her after roaming for what seemed like forever. Do they even know where we are? She thought slightly annoyed. Anubis had turned back into his anteater form and was carrying Mary on his back.

Suddenly Mary's voice broke the silence. "Can we go visit Mrs. Druse, Antubis?" Anubis turned his great head towards Samantha he seemed fixed on deciding whether or not she would run if he'd take her into the world of the living. "Please?" Mary tried again. A deep rumble came from the animal as if he were groaning. "Very well Mary. Come Samantha." His gaze fixated back on the older female, before he turned and started walking through the wall ahead of them. Sam hesitated, she tentatively reached her hand towards the plaster of the wall. She gasped as her fingers went straight through, before jerking them back towards her body.

Of course they're going to go through Samantha you idiot, you're a ghost now, remember? She braced herself against the wall behind her before taking a running start through the wall. Cobwebs and wires flew past her as she came out the other side of the fixture. She tripped as she stopped herself her hands going through the bottom of the floor. She looked up and caught the eyes of the Death God. His face could only be described as filled with mirth as she heard the deep chuckle come from him. Samantha huffed with annoyance as she pulled herself upright. "Are we going to see this woman or not?" His large muzzle pulled up slightly into a sharp toothed grin. 'Yes. Come Mary.' He turned his back from Samantha and strutted down the hallway, his tail dragging along the ground.

Samantha started to follow, when suddenly she heard a familiar voice. "So there was no chance for revival?" Her head shot towards the direction of the person speaking. Without even thinking her body started towards the voice. "I'm sorry Mr. Williams but there was no chance, even if she had been revived there was severe damage to her internal organs and there was no possible donors compatible for her blood type." She turned the corner of the corridor and came upon Doctor Hook and a dyed-blue haired man. (I'm not sure if I mentioned his hair colour earlier so he's blunette now.) She side stepped Doctor Hook to get a closer look at the second man. Her eyes widened considerably before they began to water. "Uncle J?" Her breath came out in green sobs.

"What do you mean NO possible donor? YOU'RE IN A HOSPITAL FOR FUCK'S SAKE!" Jason's voice echoed throughout the room. Samantha gasped taking a step back, she'd never heard Jason yell apart from when she'd been attacked, but she'd especially never heard him swear. He'd always been scolding her for swearing. "I understand you're upset, but getting angry isn't going to solve anything. I'm sorry for your loss but you need to understand even if Samantha did survive the operation she would have most likely had to be placed on life support for the rest of her natural life." Doctor Hook replied calmly trying not to react as he wish he could, all he could do was console the grieving man.

Jason fell to his knees, sobs overthrowing him. "You don't understand... she is my... she was my everything! ." Tears flowed down both his and Samantha's cheeks. She threw herself over to him, trying to wrap her arms around him. Trying to comfort the man that had looked after her for so many years, the man that had been the closest thing to a father she'd had for years. Her arms couldn't make contact. "I- I loved her so much.... I was going to tell her on her birthday." He pulled out a small ring box. (It's not incest they're not related biologically.) At this she shot backwards her back flying through the wall and landing her halfway between the worlds of life and death. "I really need to get ahold of this." She groaned pulling herself upwards.

"I can't believe this..." She murmured, glancing back at Jason, his head was in his hands and the ring box on the floor. Dr. Hook was patting his Jason's back awkwardly. "Oh Jason. I had no idea." She crawled across the floor, reaching for the ring box. Her hand just made contact when out of nowhere a german shepherd came and scooped up the ring box, taking it through the opposing wall. "You little shit!" She brought herself up and took off on a run after the canine. Her body flew through wall after wall until she came into the Kingdom's morgue. The lights were flickering overhead, though they were casting little light upon the already dim room. She stopped mid-stride catching a glimpse of familiar black hair hidden by a sheet. Her hand grabbed hold of the edge of the sheet pulling it back quickly.

Paul's face glared up at her from the slab, his hand shot out, instantly latching onto her wrist. She tried and failed to yank her arm away, only causing him to pull her closer to him, jumping off of the slab and pushing her into his place. "Found you short timer and it looks like your little friends are nowhere in sight. Get lost along the way?" He grinned smugly his curly hair trailing over her cheeks.

She couldn't help but notice from this angle how well the dark circles around his eyes emphasised the green in them, she could get lost in his eyes forever... Wait! What the hell am I thinking? Lost in his eyes what am I 12? Ugh.. Get control of yourself Samantha! He asked you a question, what was it? Crap, now I probably look like a complete moron. "No I didn't get lost, I was chasing this stupid dog that ran off with something of mine." She was forced back down again when she moved to sit up. "Something of yours huh? Like wha-" He was cut short as a noise came from the hall outside of the morgue. His eyes darkened in anger. "Speak of the devil." He whispered.

"Who-?" "SHH!" He covered her mouth with his hand. "Did she go this way Antibus?" Mary's voice carried from the hallway. Oh no! I don't mind Mary but Anubis is with her. Samantha pulled her face out from under his hand. "Hide me." She begged. "What?" Paul looked at her with astonishment. "Hide me, please! Don't let him find me." His eyebrow raised before he pulled her upwards and towards one of the body slab drawers embedded into the wall. (I'm not sure what they're really called.)

He pulled the first one open and came face to face with Samantha's corpse. Her body was covered by a white hospital sheet from the neck down. Her face was pale, all of the colour drained from her, and her eyes were shut. But she could still see part of the gash on her stomach that wasn't hidden from view. She would have screamed if not for the fact she was being practically hunted. "Beautiful." Paul murmured. " Climb in." What? Is he crazy climb into my body? She looked at him as if he were insane. "Are you serious?" her voice came out as a hiss. "I think she went down towards the Morgue Antibus!" Mary's footfalls were getting closer by the second. "Yes if you want to be safe from the fuzzball then get in!" She looked from him to her body hesitantly. "Oh for- would you just get in!" He scooped her up into his arms and almost dropped her into her corpse.

She lifted her head from the slab only to be pushed back down by Paul's face. Did he just kiss me?! What the hell? "Stay down and don't get up for anyone but me, I'll be back soon short timer." With the last word he shut the door leaving her in blackness.
