Foreword and Characters

Author's note: Hello, I am glad you are taking the time to read this short piece. It was written for a class. I hope you thoroughly enjoy it. I have plans to develop this into a novel, but nothing is certain yet.

Characters:
Thompson – a middle-aged white male who is an experienced criminal investigator for the the local police. Has a particular accent, as he is from New Jersey. His tone of voice varies from loud to mumbling but is mostly loud and obnoxious. He is very committed to the Justice System in his country.
Rose – a young white female with platinum hair who kills for a living; she is a Canadian born in Quebec that fled her home to run from prison. She suffers from Antisocial Personality Disorder and is serving various life sentences for the murder of 7 people, though she has claimed the lives of many more. Her behavior mirrors her personality disorder.
Marcus – a handsome young Nuyorican criminal psychologist who is conducting his doctoral research on Antisocial Personality Disorder in the prison population. He is very kind and patient; he has an empathic personality.
