In an old mining town, in Eureka, Utah. A Solum silence hung over the eerie atmosphere that was enclosed within the town surrounded by the hills of fallen souls. The most disturbing house was known by its Inhabitants as the gateway to hell. Those who dared to enter were greeted with the stench of mould, death and blood. Anyone who enters, were never to be seen again. Long roots of ivy lined up the walls, allowing no access to the outside world, and trapping those who are inside, never to be let out again. Each window sill had moss, inches thick. Throughout its 110year old lifetime, the house had seen many disturbances, births, deaths, murders. But no one could prepare to feel the true evil within its walls.  Most people believe that there is something more sinister within the walls, many paranormal investigations within, yet always has a horrific outcome. Deaths lead by vicious thoughts, suicides left unanswered. People killed in cold blood, yet never investigated, never buried, just left to be eaten by parasites. Most souls left unheard, and uncared for. Not one person buried or giving a fine farewell, left for dead, left alone. Skeletal remains are still left in the position they died; surrounded by the black mould, surrounded by the rotting wood.

There is an old myth that follows this mansion in the mining town of Eureka. And that is that there was once a man, the richest man within the whole town. Who was riddled with selfish arrogance, who everyone despised. One day, once he had finalised the death of a family that owed him money, he experienced an tight pain in his chest, as if someone was trying to rip his stone heart out. Once a medical examination was complete, he was diagnosed with Spanish flu, named the killer flu, the flu that has a 99% death rate. He wasn't worried as he believed his undeserved money would be able to fix him. Little did he know that there is no cure, and this would be the end of his disgraceful life.
No amount of money would pay people to attend his funeral, for he may have had the most valuable life, but had the most crumbling soul. The most disgusting life, that once he had passed, was left to crumble and rot by itself. Inside the 4 walls, that absorb his selfish greed, that his soul grew into. Those who enter would never see anyone again, those who enter will suffer the greed of the rich.
