Okay, so as to explain this—wow every time I look at it it becomes more gorgeous—Laurens isn't really there, he's a ghost. And Eliza is protesting against slavery, it's supposed to be derived from a part where she sang "I speak out against slavery!" In WLWDWTYS. If any of you were able to watch Ziksua's animatic of the song you'd know that my art above was inspired by what she drew about Eliza's line. It first showed Eliza protesting and then Laurens appearing with the tiniest screen time possible saying 'You really are amazing, Eliza.'

Ok so idk if Ziksua meant that as Laurens acknowledging Eliza for all she's done for Alex or her shipping these two to the point that she'd make a reference. I support both theories feverently. I don't know if I already mentioned this on a previous chapter lol

I plan to finish this on my phone to polish it out, give more expression; adding more significant stuff and fixing etc etc.

Character design here is really vague, I planned to give both of them more visible-looking clothes but failed. And on second thought I just drew Laurens' body with absolutely no clothing.

He should've had his eyes closed here, I didn't change it because the tiniest mistake would make me regeret why I even changed it in the first place. It really would've looked that horrible. And damn I just realized how I still need to draw his hand, when you look at it for the first time you'd think Laurens has a hand but it's actually Eliza's (the hand was drawn kinda horribly btw, I'd still need to fix that on my phone)

If I would've made this into an animatic??? The second slide would've shown his eyes actually closed and his forehead leaning against Eliza in the calmest way possible.  sjdgejfaaqyjs. And I absolotely love the idea of his hand trying to hold Eliza's even though it isn't really there and it's justo fdjgding precious I'd d i e
