"Brown hair. One blue eye. One green. Tan. Self-harm scars. Wounds from something being shoved through his arm." The endless droning voice went on and on, stating every little physical fact about the small Polish boy on the gurney. A Dutch man was in the corner, his hands on his head and one leg bouncing up and down quite fast. A heart monitor beeped loudly, showing that the boy was very well alive. Despite how ashen his face was.
The Dutch man got up, "Is he okay..? Is.. is he going to make it..? I.. I need to know my baby is okay.."
The doctor gave a gentle nod, "He will be. We have top of the line staff-"
The Dutch man furrowed his great brow, "I don't care. Is my baby going to live? Or not?"
The doctor sighed, "We will try our best Paul. It'll be best if you get some rest..."
The Dutch, A.K.A., Paul, gave a light nod, before sitting back in his chair, "Thank you."
The doctor gave a strained smile before heading out of the room. The small Polish boy from the bed gave a soft noise, a scared noise, "S.. Sam.. Sam.." He gave a sharp gasp, causing the monitor to spike dramatically.
Paul immediately shot up again, resting a hand on the boy's arm, the other holding his cheek, "Pal.. Pal it's okay.. it's okay.."
Pal gave a scream, gripping onto Paul before his eyes shot open. He blinked, looking up at his father a moment, "I.. I was on the roof.. where's Sam?!-" He tried to sit up, but Paul pushed him down.
"Sam.. Sam's Okay.. they're at home for now.. visiting time is supposed to be over for now.. they'll come back tomorrow."
Pal gave a light nod, clearing his throat lightly, "I.. I can wait.."
Paul gave a light, sad, smile, "Good.." He placed a soft kiss to Pal's forehead, gently rubbing his cheek, "You should rest up.. the doctor says you really need it.."
Pal gave a tired nod, before closing his eyes once more, "Love you Dad.."
"I love you too Pal.."
