Cash is in his booth rapping and singing his songs while I sit in the lounge with Slim and a man who I've never met before. He's kinda cute. He has brown hair, hazel eyes. He's got tattoos and a nice built body but nothing like Cash. Cash is covered in tattoos from his chest all the way down. Not gonna lie this guy is cute.. really cute but I'm with Cash and like I said before, I've never met him till now. He must have heard me talking in my mind or something because he looks up at me and smiles. I quickly look away back at Cash waving his hands in the air as he freestyles a verse. I can hear him rapping from here and he's so good. I smile and look back at the group.

"I'm Rook" the brown haired boy looks at me. I look at him and suddenly feel shy not knowing why, but I snap out of it and clear my throat.
"I'm Riley" I say, he looks me up and down and smiles. I look at Slim who is clearly not paying attention, "That Cash's" I hear slim mumble. I smile slightly at Slim, Rook looks down and smiles sheepishly "I just want friends" the way Rook looks at me makes me feel a weird flame inside and I feel anxious and shy. Why?
Slim shoots Rook a look and goes back on his phone. I hear Cash laughing in the booth which distracts me from Rook, I turn and see him heading out.

"Alright brotha I'll see you on the road" Cash says opening the door, I stand up and he greets me with a kiss on the lips which makes me flutter inside. Rook looks away from us.
"I see you met Rook" Cash says and nods at Rook. I nod and smile at him "Yeah sorta" I say looking at Rook, him looking back at me.
"Yeah Rook is my drummer, he's gonna be coming with us on tour" Cash says pulling me closer to his side. I back away confused. Us?
"You're going with me baby" Cash smiles wide. I feel my stomach drop and fill with excitement but also nerves. I hug him tight and kiss him
"Are you serious?" I say sounding like a little girl. He bites his lip and looks into my eyes nodding. Ugh, that look. I love when he gives me that look. I feel my stomach Fire up.
Slim stands up and smiles at me.
"I'm just glad my best friends will be together" Slim says side eyeing Rook. What's with Rook and Slims tension? I shrug and look into Cash eyes again smiling. I love this man so much.

We sit on the couch and smoke a few blunts, I catch Rook looking at me when Cash isn't paying attention, which I try my best to avoid.
Cash coughs and lays back in his seat, pulling me back with him. He kisses my cheek and puts his arms around me. I swoon and melt in his arms. Rook takes a swig of the Whiskey on the table and gets up walking away. Slim watches and looks back at me and cash and smiles.

"Riley, I'm so happy you're coming with me" Cash whispers in my ear, the warmth of his breath on my neck makes me bite my lip and sends fire through me again, all I do is smile.
He kisses me softly on the lips and gets up heading to the bathroom. I shuffle my way to Slim he finishes rolling another blunt and hands it to me.

"Ladies first" Slim says and hands me a lighter. I flick it and a flame comes out and I inhale the smoke and hold it in my lungs and slowly exhale and pass it to Slim. A part of me wants to ask what his deal is with Rook but I don't.
"Stay away from Rook" Slim says in a whisper but looks at me serious, I open my mouth to speak. But before I say anything he speaks.
"He's.. trouble" Slim says and looks at me. I laugh, trouble? Honestly who can possible be more trouble than Cash? But Slim doesn't find my humor so I bite the inside of my cheek and nod.

"What'd he do?" I ask, Slim looks at me ready to talk but Rook slips into the room again with Cash them both laughing. Slim passes me the blunt again and I hold it in my fingers looking at him confused still. I hit the blunt a few times and pass it to Cash. He takes a hit of it and hands it to Slim.

"Alright we gotta bounce Ri." Cash says getting his jacket on. I nod and get my jean jacket and put my sunglasses on. I check to see the time on my iPhone. 1:30pm. Oh thank god, I am so hungry. I stand up and say goodbye to Slim who hands me the rest of the blunt we were smoking. Rook says goodbye to Cash and looks at me. He smiles and nods at me.
"See you around Riley" he says biting his lip a little which makes me bite mine, I nod and wave bye at him and walk out the studio with Cash hand in hand.
