As the fresh autumn air hit my cheek, I started thinking of everything that had changed in the last few months.

My name's Luna. I was just another university student living in the Big Apple. This was my junior year of university, and rather than being in my hometown of the big city, I was now a student in Seoul.

I always knew I wanted to study abroad but I never thought of Korea as being one of my top choices. Back home, while I was applying to study abroad, all the openings for Europe and Australia were taken because I applied pretty late. All that was left was a spot to study in Korea.

Instead of complaining I thought it was a pretty cool opportunity, so I took it.

Knowing I would have to learn Korean, I began studying as soon as I found out I had gotten the spot. I'm not at all fluent at Korean, but I can get my way through most conversations and understand more than I can speak. K-dramas really helped me.

Anyway, I had just gotten to Korea about a week ago. I was starting to settle into my new apartment and learning how to not get lost just trying to go to the grocery store.

Today was my first class of the semester and I wanted to arrive at least 30 minutes early to get situated and get to know my surroundings, but somehow I ended up getting lost.

great.

As I looked around the street i was on, I saw a cute little coffee shop. I was pretty hungry since I didn't eat this morning, plus I could really ask someone for directions.

As I went through the door, I could feel the nice warm air hit my cheek and hear the soothing jazz music playing in the background.

Coffee shops always have that vibe, don't they?

I looked around and saw business men busy talking on their cellphones and people writing emails.

Then I spotted a pale boy who seemed to be about my age, with headphones on, and a laptop out on the circular table in front of him. He was wearing a grey beanie with silver hair peaking underneath. He wore a black hoodie with black ripped jeans. He must really love bright colors huh ?

We both caught each other's eyes, but I glanced away as soon as he caught me looking.

wow, he's incredibly cute.

When I looked back over to him, he'd taken off his headphones and started sipping his coffee.

I knew I had to ask for directions.

Everyone else seemed too busy, so I made my way over to the pale boy.

here I go.

(a/n: hey! this is my very first story and I just wanna say thanks to whoever took time out of their day to read it! I don't wanna be cringey and do romanization so instead the conversations will be as if they were translated in english. thanks again ily!!)
