The Devils Light. (Klaus Mikaelson)

Chapter 2

       Later on that day it was starting to turn night fall.  I was feeding Noah dinner.  Klaus has been out all day.  He said he was going to an art show.  I love that he is so passionate about his art.  It makes him calm when he's worried about things.  I know that he is worried about us.  The fear of loving me makes him worried.  He doesn't like fear.  I know that he is dealing with it the best way that he can. 

         I get Noah all cleaned up along with hope and I lay the children down for bed.  I go into mine and Klaus' bedroom to get myself ready.  I show in nice warm water. I get out and get dressed.  As soon as I was done getting dressed Klaus walks in the room.  I look over and give him a small smile which he returns with one of his half smirks that I so truly adore. 

         "Hey. " I say.

        He walks over to me and plants a huge passionate kiss km my lips.  It took me for a surprise.  "what was that for?"

        "It's my way of apologizing for earlier love. " he tells me with another half smirk on his face. He sure does use that alot to melt my heart. 

       "It's really fine" I tell him as I scoot myself to sit up in the bed. 

        "I was certainly unfair earlier. "

        "Klaus,  I know it scares you.  But don't think for a second that it doesn't scare me.  Being with you is a scary thing.  Not just because of all the things I have gone threw.  Like continuously being kidnapped the first year.  But also becoming a mother because of you " I admit to him and myself a little bit.
   
      "May 12th." was all he said to me.  I looked at him with furrowed brows in confusion. " I'd like to make you my wife that day. "

         "That's two weeks away. " I say to him.

         "That's the day I want you to be Mrs. Mikaelson." he looks at me with a soft lovable expression on his face.  I'm in shock.  This is really going to happen.  I have waited a year for this.  I need this.  I'm almost to the point where I am completely speechless. 

        "OK. " I say nervously to him. 

          He let's out a chuckle and cups my face with both of his hands.  "Always and forever. "

        That night we made passionate love.  It was nothing like the other times we had before.  It was magical.  I was so happy about everything that was going on now.  I'm just so glad that I got to meet Klaus.  He's the best thing that had ever happened to me along with Noah and hope. 

       The next morning I woke up energized and happy as can be.  Klaus wasn't next to me.  So I wondered out of the room.  I heard laughter in the kitchen.  So I made my way towards it.  When I walked in I seen Klaus with Noah and Freya with hope.  They were feeding them breakfast. I smiled widely as I made my appearance known. 

         "Well good morning love. " Klaus says as he walks away from Noah in the highchair and gives me a small peck on the cheek. I looked over at Freya and hope.  She gave me a smile.  Klaus must have told her about the big plans in two weeks.  Only a Mikaelson can pull off a wedding in that amount of time.  Vampires and witches even werewolves will be flocking in from all over the world to see this wedding.  Along with meeting two miracle babies.

       Not sure if I'm ready to meet nearly every vampire on the planet. I really don't even have a choice.  The only thing that is holding me together is that I will be bound to Klaus for an eternity.  

       After they were done feeding the babies Klaus and I sat on his painting room together. I watched him paint pictures of horses.  I enjoyed watching. I'm not really into the painting thing.  But seeing him do it was peaceful.

         "You think we finally found peace? " I ask him.

           "My peace is wherever you are.  But certainly not love.  Someone will try and come along and ruin it all.  It's never a dull moment being a mikaelson. " he tells me as he looks over his shoulder at me.

        "I think I figured that out.  I was just hoping for our perfect happy ending with our perfect little family. " I admit to him. 

          "indeed I will give you that and more my love.  We just have to see how everything goes after the wedding. "

          "Right. " I say to him awkwardly. 

        "Do you know something I do not?" he ask me curiously. 

        "No not really. " I tell him.

         "What is that suppose to mean?"

          "Why don't you ask your darling sister Rebekah?" I say to him as I walk out leaving him to wonder in his thoughts.
