I watched the clock tick slowly as everyone around me laughed and threw paper. Of course they're going to its the last day of school. I'm not as exciting, because all my Summer will consist of is yelling and a drunk mom. I love my mom, but when she drinks she gets carried away and I can't deal with her. The bell brought me out of my thoughts. I look up to see my best friend Alexis standing at the door waiting for me.
"So you got anything planned tonight?" she asks me.
"If you call sleeping plans then yes."
"Ugg why are you so boring? why don't you go to the party tonight."
"1 I didn't know about it. 2 my mom won't let me. and 3 i wasn't invited"
"Its my party and your going."
"I can't my mom won't let me."
"I got this. I'll see you there."
I don't know how shes gonna get me to go to this party, but i hope she does. I never get out I'm anti-social. plus I want to have fun. I don't know its just hard for me to have fun because I'm more mature then anyone my age, but, I guess when you have to take care of your self pretty much your whole life that happens.
When I got home my mom wasn't there, but there was a note. all it said was that my mom had to work night shift and that I could stay the night at alexis's. I should have known she would be working.
I went to my room and changed into dark blue skinny jeans and a crop top that was white and said peace in galaxy color. I wore some black van to go with it. I reapplied some makeup. I looked in the mirror and grabbed my bag ad walked to alexis's. Her house is only a block away.
When i get there its about 6:30 and no one was there. I was wondering why isn't anyone here. I walk in to see Alexis going crazy walking around putting things up, getting drinks out, and getting food ready. Now I see why no ones here. I just sit on the couch and check my Instagram and laugh at some post. Alexis just gives me a glare, because she knows I'm never gonna help get everything ready. all of a sudden the door bell rings. I look at Alexis confused, she looks at me like are you going to get it. I just give her the 'I'm to busy look." She huffs and opens the door. Thats when I here this deep guy voice.
As secretly as I could I poked my head above the couch to see this boy who look 16-17, blond short hair, blue eyes they were so beautiful. He looked about 5'8-5'9. All I know is that he was hot. I forgot i was gawking at him and Alexis says this is kilee. my face got so red, so I slowly hid my face into the couch, and went back to my phone. He doesn't go to our school, if he did I'd remember.
I came out of thought when I felt someone sit on the other end of the couch. I looked up to see him. I was freaking out on the inside. I had no clue what to do. He just looked at me, I just looked away. I got up and walked over to Alexis and asked her how she new him. She told me new neighbors. Shes so lucky to have a neighbor like that.
The party started and of course all the girls were all over him. Like i didn't see that happening. (Cough, cough.) I stayed over by Alexis which was fun but wasn't, because we'd start talk and laugh then her boyfriend would come back and they'd have a make out session. (Gross.) When that happen I would always go in to think mode and think what it would be like to kiss him, or I would look at him and notice he wasn't having the best time.
Alexis and I were talking when he walked over. I kinda stopped talking and everything. He was so cute I was wondering why is he even over here?
"Hey I don't mean to interrupt, but I was wondering if I could talk to you." he said looking me dead in the eyes.
I'm sure i looked stupid standing there, with this O face and blushing like an idiot. I didn't know what to say I mean what was I suppose to do? I was in complete shock.
"Um. Sure" I say.
"My name is Austin."
"Mine's Kilee."
"Thats a pretty name. Your pretty too."
"Haha. Thanks."
"You seem like a pretty cool girl."
" I guess."
"I bet you are."
We talked for what seemed like the whole night. When he left he gave me his number. We text all night talking about random things, until he said "i think you really cute what would you say if I asked you out? I mean I'm not asking you, because I got a girlfriend, but I was just wondering." He made me sad mad I had know clue what to say so I just didn't reply and went to bed.
When I woke up my phone was blown up by Austin. All he said was he's sorry, and that he shouldn't of done or say that. I just ignored him. I didn't want anything to with him now. He's suck a player and I can't believe I didn't see it. Alexis's doorbell rang and brought me to the reality. When I opened the door I wish I wouldn't have, because it was him, but what he did next was so crazy and unexpected I just didn't know what to do.
