Todoroki POV

I woke up with a start. Shooting up out of my bed, my hands were throbbing, my whole body aches with extreme pain. Sitting straight up in bed, I couldn't move the fingers, staring at them, they were trembling. My left burnt harshly and emitted a slight red glow and my right, a cold burning sensation, also glowing light blue. I moved to sit on the hard wooden floor just staring at my hands, my breath shallow and wincing every so often at a sharp stabbing pain. My alarm clock screeches breaking me out of my trance. I've got school today, it's a Tuesday. My head feels heavy.

Getting up from the floor I proceed to accomplish my daily routine. The shower water doesn't feel hot, just lukewarm.

Is the boiler broken?

I turn it to a hotter setting, but it stays the same. The water just feels uncomfortable and numb on my throbbing skin. I get out of the shower quickly, still aware of my hands but thankfully they have stopped glowing. It's now only a dull pain.

Getting dressed, I can't stop staring at my own reflection. It feels unnatural, the dull grey and pale blue eyes I was born with stare back at me, my brown hair sitting gently on the top of my head, smooth and neat, I notice another white hair and promptly pull it out.

I'm too young to be going grey already.

I raised my hand to my face, the skin pale and clear. My fingers left a red mark where they sat on my face. It was hot.

Something feels wrong about me today.

Shaking my head and tearing my eyes from my reflection, I headed downstairs for some food. I decided to have some ibuprofen to ignore the pain and hopefully help it. With one last glance in the mirror, I put on my she's and head out.

It's maths. In coping work from the board when the throbbing returns. This time it's worse. I can feel it swim around my body like some snake, instead of only being my hands, it's on my arms, legs, torso, everywhere. There isn't a piece of my body that isn't in pain. A sick burning sensation erupts from my body just by breathing, it feels like it will explode out of me.

I can't move, I can't breathe, I can't do anything. The pain is too much to bare, dropping my pen that I was holding onto the floor, everyone stares at me.

I can't do anything. I grip my head and pull on my hair, I feel like screaming, anything. A way out of this.

"Todoroki are you okay?" Someone asks me but I don't know who. I don't answer them because I can't do anything. My eyes fixated to my legs.
I feel like I can't even move, I feel as though I'm being burnt alive from this unknown wound. I move to grip my sides, as if squeezing my body into a tight ball will stop the agony I'm in. I need a release, something to make it stop.

It feels like I'm being stabbed, burnt alive, tortured by my body. It's too much, I can't breathe, my chest is closing. Something is going to erupt I can't feel it deep inside me. Pressing against my skin, my bones, everything. My heart throbbing in my ears, I can feel the blood pulsating at incredibly speeds through my veins.

I breathe in. Everything goes quiet.

A scream erupts from my mouth. It's the only thing I know how to do in that moment. I can feel something erupt, I don't knkw what it is. My eyes are screwed shut in fear, afraid of what is happening. I can't hear anything except for a loud ringing in my ears and the throbbing beat of my heart. But as soon as I screamed, it's like a weight was lifted off of me, everything feels, lighter.
