"M-Mina!" I screamed, running down the hall. We'll be late! Aizawa will kill us! I called her name repeatedly, and that's when my phone vibrated. It was Mina calling me. I answered it and she was crying.

"K-Kiri-shima! I me-messed up!" she cried, sniffing.

"Where are you, Mina?" I asked, trying to make the panic in my voice hide under my compassion. Please, don't be serious. I can't bare it if the girl I... My thought was broken by her sobbing loudly.

"Girls Bathroom. East Wing." she said, sniffing more. I looked around. 'East Wing Bathrooms'. I followed the arrow, clutching my phone in my hand. I reached the bathroom, and without thinking, slammed the girl's door open. I found her, sitting against the stall closest to the door, her eyes puffy from crying. I ran to her and held her. She wrapped her arms around me and sobbed into my neck.

"What happened, Mina?" I asked, stroking her hair. She held my arm and neck tightly and breathed slowly.

"A 3rd Year said he wanted to go on a date, but I lied and said I was dating someone." she said, talking into my shoulder. " I mean, I'm not....but, I was going to ask someone out." I felt myself frown slightly. Doubtful it was me. Sadly... She grabbed my jacket tightly and whispered, "I doubt he would have said yes."

"If you don't mind me asking, who is it?" I asked, knowing her answer wouldn't be what I wanted to hear. She exhaled onto my neck and loosened her grip on me.

"I-It....was..." she started, barely talking, stuttering badly. She breathed several times, then tried again, cutting to the meat. "Y-You."

I felt myself blush severely. N-No....she doesn't want to tell me the truth, so she's trying to distract me. No. That isn't her personality. "Really?" I asked, slightly pulling back, but still hugging her.

"Y-Yeah. Kirishima. I like you." she said, looking me in the eyes. I could feel she was telling the truth by the look in her eyes. I smiled and held her close again. I let several tears stream down my cheeks, but made sure I didn't make any noise. I-I can't believe it! I wanted to scream, but I held back. She pushed me playfully, sending me falling onto my ass. I couldn't help but smile, her eyes twinkling like they usually did.

"Do you want to go on a date?" I asked, not letting my nerves settle. She smiled and nodded, her hair falling over her eye. I smiled widely and blinked several times. No. I'm not gonna cry. I stood up and helped her up, also. " So, how about the diner uptown. Tomorrow night at 7?"

"Sure. I can do that. Dressy or Casual?" she asked, brushing her lap off.

"Come as you are beforehand." I said, shrugging. She smiled and nodded her head as the bell rang. "Shit! Come on!" she said, running out of the bathroom, me on her tail. Her hair bounced with each step and I couldn't help but smile. So, the long wait was finally over, huh? Kinda can't believe it.
