Alex woke up from her sleep. She didn't recognize where she was. She look around. Then she remembered that she was at her new house. She was in a run down part of Arizona and she hated it. She decided to go the the local mall and do some shopping for her new room. She asked her mom for some extra cash because she only had $50. Her mom said, "I don't want you going to the mall alone. When you make new friends at school, you can go with them." Alex sighed and went back to her room. When night fell she wanted to get some fresh air and learn the town a little better. She climbed out the window and ran behind her house to not get caught. She was walking down a dimly lite street when she saw a girl her age walking towards her. She looked at what was in her hand, it was to late. She shot the dart into her arm and collapsed in her arms. "It's going to be alright". Alex closed her eyes.
