" I'm surprised they're still holding a Vytal Festival." Cinder said to Neo, her only ally at the moment. She can't go back to Salem without something to prove her worth. And she doesn't plan to either, she wants that little Red dead at her feet not alive. She needed her blood to stain the pavements, all because of her silver eyes. " We need to get in." Neo was surprised and made a face that asked her how. " They're sure to have tighten security from the last time we invaded. No doubt that Atlas would be offering their services." She smiled as a chuckle escaped her lips. " Tensions are surely high. Neo, I know you have connections that lead somewhere. I'll give you the task of finding us a way in, and you better have it by the time they're starting it."

' Fine.' She thought and headed out to clear her head. It won't as easy this time, Roman wasn't around to do the talking for her. She grabbed his arm and pinned him against the wall, all he did was tap her shoulder. Pen grunted a little and looked at her with a confused face. She let him go immediately. ' I'm so sorry.' He smiled as he dusted himself off. ' Reflexes.'

' It's fine.' He signed back and then glanced at the flowers he'd dropped. He knelt down to pick them up and found Neo helping. ' Thank you.'

' It's nothing. I did attack you first.' She offered to help him but refused. ' What are they for?' She asked as they walked together, he didn't answer and kept walking. She caught the downcast look on his face. She put a hand on his shoulder and stopped him. He gave her a patient smile and kept walking. It continued to be very quiet until they reach a cemetary. They paused for a bit, standing in front of the cemetary gates. So was this what the flowers were for? She thought as he entered the cemetary with the many flowers in hand. He would walk from grave to grave and place 12 different flowers on each one. The last grave was given a carnation, it was a relatively small grave to say the least. He sat there for a bit and prayed. ' Who was that? They?'

' It's an old tradition. My boss told me to keep it up if I could. Once a year I'd come here to visit the children that didn't make it through. It's an old orphanage, may I remind you so there were...losses throughout the years. She told me to gather flowers for them acording to their birth month. I only have time once a year to do this. It's apart of my job.' He has to admit, it's actually his second time since he was recruited by the flock late last year. Neo kept quiet but he knew she understood. He took her hand and invited her to see the children. Before she could say or sign anything he was already dragging him halfway there.

" Look! It's the pretty ice cream lady!" One of the children pointed out and soon enough she was surrounded by children. She wasn't sure what to do or how to communicate at this moment. They're only children. Pen smiled as she tried to interact with the children and their numerous questions.

" What the actual fuck?"  Language. A young man said as he stood at the fence. Pen seems to know him but this kid seemed really pissed. " Everyone get inside!" He ordered them, they hesitated but heeded his command. Pen had a troubled look.

' Alex, this is a surprise-'

" Quiet," The little girl that gave Neo the flower stayed where she was, staring at the young man. He caught her eye and despite his glare, the tone of his voice softened. " Get out of here, Miki." She seemed to understand and slowly moved away. " The fuck is this, Pen? You're bringing outsiders here? Just because you've got yourself a position here doesn't change the fucking fact that you've only been here for less than a year!" Before Pen could move, Alex took him by the collar and snarled. " You're only here because you're paid. You're still new here, so don't you ever forget that!" Neo grabbed his arm and slammed him onto the ground with a loud thud. She smirked as it took the kid time to get up. But her face fell as the kid laughed. " I knew it. I fucking knew it...You are just another asshole looking for a quick cash grab." Pen put his hand in front of her, she studied his face and found a touch of guilt. She was only making things worse. " Where the hell are you going?" He asked her as she walked past him with a glare.

' Take care, Pen.' She signed as she left. A nightingale sat silently in the trees, watching closely as she left. It tapped it's talond on the tree branch, the steel scratching the wood. She's not a threat yet, not yet. As a huntress, it is her duty to protect those in need.
