~3rd P.O.V~
It is (Y/n)'s first day at Aihara Academy. She has no idea what this school has in store for her. So, let us watch her fate unfold. Shall we?
~Your P.O.V~
"Holy fiddle sticks." you mutter to yourself, as you see the enormous school looming before you.
"Remind me why my parents put me in an all girls school again?" you muttered as you fix your forever wonky name-tag.
'(Y/n) (L/n).', the name-tag practically initiates a staring contest with you. Re-focusing your attention on coaxing your legs to do this thing called 'walking', you shyly but confidently walk through the gates, onto the premises. As if you're in your our little world, fantasizing about (f/a) (favorite actor). They are 'SOOO CUTE!' you think to yourself, not realizing the bell had rung. Rushing through the courtyard at top speed, you brace yourself for the stinging sensation of eyes burning into your soul. With your already crippling social anxiety, you hesitantly reach for the door knob, but you stiffen as you hear a sharp, commanding voice behind you.
" Why aren't you in class?"
" I - Uh-" you stutter.
" I don't want any excuses." She used a tone that's as sharp as a two edged sword.
" Um, I don't mean this in a mean way, but who are you?" You ask.
She paused for a minute... " Mei Aihara, Student counsel president."
You froze, ' shoot shoot shoot shoot shoot-' your thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the bell ringing. Mei was jolted from her daze, and met your eyes with a furious glare. To your surprise, she stayed silent, and whipped around to walk to her next class.
" Yeesh.." you mutter under your breath.
Struggling to process the situation, you bewilderingly waltz over to your locker to grab your mathematics book. ' Ugh, math.' you mentally sigh. Trying not to internally die, you somberly prepare yourself for an excruciatingly long, dull lesson. You never quite understood how people would want to spend their whole life doing math. I mean, you weren't bad at it, you've just done so much of it that it kind of takes the amusement out of it now. Even when it's something fresh, like the Pythagorean theorem, that's the final thing we learned in eight grade. Well, might as well look at the bright side of things? You walk down the hallway when you feel someone crash into you.
" Hey-" you began to say.
" (Y/NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN)!" the intruder of your personal space bubble screeches.
" Yuzu? Please get off me." you giggle as she pouted.
" I missed you over the summer!" Yuzu cheered.
" I missed you too!" You cheerfully replied.
You both sigh as the other students slowly begin to retreat to the safety of their respective classrooms. You both sigh.
" What class do you have next?" Yuzu asked in an exhausted tone.
" Mathematics, you?" you reply.
She gasps.
" So do I!" she cheers
You both walk into class A2. You were silently dozing off, as you feel a slim piece of paper brush against your arm. Looking over you see Yuzu smirking playfully.
'truth or dare?'
'Nein.'
She looked at you and pouted. Then her face lit up.
'Truth or truth?'
You quietly snorted, rolling your eyes in a playful manner. While thinking what direction to go from here...just kidding, it was literally one option in two different places, I'm not that dumb...right? You circle the left variation of 'truth'. She smirked at this.
'do you like anyone?'
'Nope.'
'R u sureeee?'
'Yes for God's sake.'
'Mea-'
Both of our faces lit up as we heard the glorious bell ring. Its tune sounded to us as if heavens trumpets were sounding, and we were the saints, watching Revelation about to begin. We quickly scrambled out of the class room and bolted to our lockers.
" YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHOOO!" Yuzu laughed.
"Shhh!" you said quickly.
"This isn't a library, but it's a genuinely strict school." You said in your 'indoor voice'.
You both giggled as she realized she had yelled more that she had liked too.
~Time Skip~
"HELL YEAH END OF THE DAY!" Yuzu brightened.
Since we were neighbors, we walked to what we called home. I was surprised when Mei walked up and joined us. She didn't say a single word.
" Meiiiiii!~" Yuzu pestered her continuously.
The girl stayed silent yet again. This continued for about five minutes, until Mei gave her a dagger-like glare. Yuzu seemed to get the message that her sister was NOT in the mood for banter. Yuzu and I engaged in friendly conversation, talking about earlier classes, summer, who was the most annoying in our classes so far. The usual stuff, then Mei chimed in.
" No, you're both wrong, Kaito is obviously the most annoying kid."
She gave a slight smile, and we both cheerily agreed. He was pretty annoying. Solemnly, Mei went back to being stone faced again. Yuzu and I tried asking her what was wrong, if she was feeling alright. All we got in return was wither silence, or a simple 'I'm fine.'. I'm sure Yuzu is concerned, but if so she shows no sign of it. Maybe they had a fight? Either way it's not really my business is it? As we reach the top of our apartment stair case, Mei glances at me for a brief second.
" Bye (Y/nnnnn)!" Yuzu says as she encased me in a hug.
" Bye Yuzu, you too Mei." I waved and walked into my apartment complex.

Hey! I hope this is a decent chapter! As this is my first fanfic I hope it's okay. If there's any spelling mistakes I apologize lmao. I'll start working on the second chapter tomorrow and hopefully finish it either then or Monday. The next few chapters will probably have a lot of character development. That's all I have to say for now! Bye thank you for reading! :3
