HIS name was Sam. His friends called him Sammy. The people who made fun of him, well they called him by his birth name. They called him Sammantha. Sam Green, born Sammantha Green, was an above average height and skinny transgender guy. He was sweet and sensitive, but most people couldn't see past the baggy pants, trashy shirts, and tennis shoes. He was unlike the other girls because he was not a girl, but since he was born a girl people saw him as just that. Although he didn't dress 'like a girl', he didn't dress in a stereotypical masculine way either. Most of the boys at his school dressed in shorts and a jersey or in something sports related. He didn't really enjoy sports. He stuck out quite a bit compared to almost everyone in his school. It was a pretty simple concept. He was different and it wasn't okay to most everyone else.

He sat in his normal spot next to the library, reading a book. A group of girls walked by giggling. Three girls who could easily slip into the crowd of girls at the school and disappear in a blur of glitter, lip gloss, and Starbucks Coffee. One of the girls had long blond hair down to her spine and misty blue eyes. Her nails painted light pink and she had a pair of very tall heels. She was wearing a white crop-top that was obviously too small and showed off her spine way too well. She was also wearing a mini skirt which made it impossible to miss her thin bony legs. The second of the three girls was not as skinny, but obviously trying very hard. She was wearing a blue, sleeveless cami and a pair of very short shorts. Her hair was brown, but just as long as the first girl's. She was wearing a pair of high heeled boots and her eyes were emerald green. The last girl looked practically like a skeleton. Her ribs were clearly seen and she looked way too pale. She was wearing the same thing as the first girl but in different colors. She had light blue eyes and a light blond hair that was longer than the other girls. She smiled at Sam and flipped her hair. Sam shrugged and continued to read.

"Hey Sammantha!" The girl said as she stood in front of Sam. He didn't look up or even acknowledge that she was in the room. The girl pouted for attention and her face turned a light shade of red. He could tell he was making her angrier by not acknowledging her presence. She put on a big goofy grin and sat next to Sam.

"Hey Sam?" She said in the most flirtatious way she could. She leaned up against his legs. Sam started to panic and he became flustered. He shook then took a breath.

"What do you want Bethanie?" Sam said angrily as he closed his book. He was upset that she had made him lose his place in his book.

"I'm sooo lonely!" She 'graveled' looking up towards him. Sam rolled his eyes and attempted to push her off. Bethanie stood up only to reposition herself on his arm next to his cheek.

"Sam! Notice me please!" She said

"If you don't stop, you'll regret it." He said in defense. She pouted and bit his ear softly. Sam stood up and looked at her on the ground as she angrily looked up at him.

"Get a life." he said before walking away to his next class. She sat in shock and then laughed and ran towards him. She wrapped her arms around him.

"Come on, Sam." She begged. Sam looked at her and as she leaned in to kiss him he started to step back. She managed to walk him to a wall by spinning him around and pushing him back. The closer she got the more he attempted to phase into the wall. They were inches apart before she got close to his ear and whispered,

"But, I would never kiss another girl." Sam's heart beat fast. He ground his teeth and growled under his breath.

"Especially a girl who thinks she's a boy." She giggled maliciously. Sam pushed Bethanie aside with tears in his eyes. He ran off to the back of the building and cried. His tears were hot and filled with pain. A student Sam had never seen before walked up to him.
