The Devils Light. (Klaus Mikaelson)

Chapter 3

         Klaus hasn't said to much to me since I told him to talk to Rebekah about her little secret she is hiding from him.  The only reason I found out was because of Josh.  He suddenly disappeared off the face of the earth after he accidently told me,  Klaus' fiance about it.  He must be terrified of what Klaus is going to do to him for not coming directly to him with the information. 

       I must admit though, I am pretty terrified myself.  This isn't good for me.  I could be kidnapped at any moment if I leave the compound.  So I have stayed inside.  I don't know how Klaus hasn't noticed I have been home more and more.

          "I can't find Rebekah anywhere.  Perhaps you might accompany me on a road trip to where ever the bloody hell she is?" Klaus says as he stands in front of me as I sit on the couch with his hands behind his back.

        "You really think I want to go and put my own life in danger? Knowing what I know might end in my death. " I say to him as I stand up so we are face to face.

        "Well just tell me the little secret and I can make it all go away " he tells me with a smile on his face.

         "Fine.  You want to know the secret. Marcel.  It's freaking Marcel.  He's alive.  Rebekah has been hiding awayvwith the man who wants me dead more than he does you. " I yell at him. 

        His face quickly turns angry.  He looks at me. I give him a soft scared look.  All I want is for me and Klaus to be happy,  safe and at peace. This world is harder for me to live in than I had ever expected.

           He cups my face as I let a small single tear slide down my left cheek.  "I will fix this love.  I promise you.  He will not hurt nor our kids. I will make it go away"
  
           Later on that day Klaus and Elijah left to go and retrieve Rebekah and Marcel.  I don't feel safe knowing they're going to bring Marcel here.  He literally tried to kill me.  Locked me up and tried to have my baby killed. 

        Freya and i have been busy with the children.  The little girl km which we saved,  summer, has been staying with us.  Freya somehow has become her foster mother. She helps her with magic and everything else she needs to do.  Summer goes to the covens to help her as well.  She fits in quite well with our oddly crazy family. 

         I sit around and wait and wait all day for them to arrive back at the compound. It's getting late.  Cami is here helping me with the children because she knows how worried I am about Klaus. I'm also worried about me as well.  Cami and Marcel had a thing a few months ago,  so my trust with her not fully there. 

       Finally Klaus has arrived.  I make my way downstairs.  "Klaus. " I say as  I see him covered in blood from head to toe.  I gasp and cover my mouth with my hand. "What happened. "

         "Let's just say Marcel, nor Rebekah will be a problem to us any longer.  " he tells me as he walks past me. 

          "What did you do to her?" I ask him causing him to stop in his tracks and turn around.

        "I simply daggered her,  I put her in a box.  " he tells me. 

           "Why on earth would you do that to your own sister? " I question him.

          "To protect you.  She was a danger to you.  " he tells me as he walks a little bit closer to me. 

           I swallow the small lump in my throat as he is inches away from my face.  "Our kids. You and our kids.  "

           As much as I was upset about it,  Klaus was right.  All I could do was put my arms around him and kiss him.

         "We will figure another way. But for now I'm not mad.  You did what needed to be done. " I admit to him.
