It was a pleasant summer day, when a shrieking shriek completely invaded that quiet London neighborhood. A frightened neighbor decided to call the police. When they arrived they found a dead woman and a man crying inconsolably at her side. Inspector David called Agent Bonnie Wright to analyze the crime scene. Bonnie, she looked frail, with her red hair and those green eyes embedded in her face full of freckles, made her look like an innocent girl. But Bonnie was one of the most intelligent, tough and demanding agents in her profession. He was always on the front line and sometimes, that would take his toll. As in his latest investigation of serial crimes that closed without finding the culprit. Even so, he never lost his motivation and gave one hundred percent every day. That had done, that it was the inspector's right hand.Agent Wright approached the man next to the body and asked:
-Hello, good morning, could you tell me your name?
The man raised his head downcast and looking into her eyes replied:
"My name is Tom, Tom Riddle and they've killed my wife," she said between sobs.
"Well, tell me," said Agent Wright. "Where were you at that moment?"
-I was lying on my bed, resting as I had worked on the night shift, when I heard a scream. At first I thought it was a dream but decided to get up to check that everything was fine. Suddenly, I noticed that the house door was open. I went down the hall and what was my surprise when I found myself lying there on the floor to my wife, dead in a pool of blood."And what did you do next?" Bonnie asked.
-I was going to call them, but someone has had to go ahead.-Tom answered.Officer Wright, after taking her statement, went to the police station to write the report. There was something about the man who gave Bonnie little confidence and did not know what it was. After several weeks without completing the puzzle, Bonnie decided to follow her instinct and began to investigate Tom. For days he observed his routines, his friendships ... But nothing in Tom's life seemed to have changed since he looked like nothing had happened. For him, everything continued the same and that Bonnie seemed very strange. He decided to speak with inspector David and requested a new record of the house. He waited for Tom to go to work so he could enter the house. Bonnie was desperate, did not find anything new to clarify the case. He was about to leave, when something on the floor made him stumble. He lowered his gaze and saw that the living room rug was raised by one of its corners. He bent down to place it well, when suddenly he noticed that there was a trapdoor on the floor. His heart was beating a thousand times an hour. I was not sure if Tom would arrive home soon but in the end, he steeled himself and lifted the trapdoor. He discovered that there was hidden a secret room. It was very dark and he saw that next to the staircase that was going down, there was a switch. He turned on the light and what was his surprise, when he found the walls papered with photographs. As he approached, he realized that the people who appeared in those photos had been victims of their previous unresolved cases. Suddenly, everything fit. Tom was the killer he had been searching for years without success. He picked up his phone and called Inspector David. Bonnie told him everything she had seen and the inspector told her that she would arrive with all the equipment right away. He congratulated him, for his exceptional work, but Bonnie, with a sharp tone, answered that if they did not arrive in less than five minutes he would personally take care of Tom. The last thing that was heard behind the phone was the inspector shouting at his entire team. Meanwhile, Bonnie began ordering all the tests in chronological order to make it easier for her team to work. Suddenly, he heard a noise in the upper floor. He pulled out his pistol and stealthily started up the stairs. He tried to open the trapdoor, but someone from above stopped him. I knew it was Tom, but I did not want to scare him so he would not run away. Just at that precise moment, he heard how his team came in and ended up arresting the murderer.
They transferred Tom to the police station and in the interrogation he collapsed confessing that he had killed his wife when he was discovered and she was going to give him away. Again Agent Wright's intuition had played a decisive role in his career. Thanks to this and her delivery, she was promoted to Chief Inspector and always tried to transmit to her team the values that had made her go so far.
