Our time

From daybreak to sunset, they're like normal people.

They go to school, get a job, have a life.

They look normal.

But...

Once the sun goes down..

Everything changes.....

Two figures walked in the shadows of the the night sky. With the clouds covering the full moon, it was safe to walk out in the open, rather than in the shadows of the dark alleyways, or hiding in the trees while partiers , or other people who wonder the night, and mess around on their turf.

Cautiously, both the mysterious figures creped into a nearby park, and slowly made their way toward a streetlight with a dragon painted on the pole.

It wasn't a big painting, oh no, the painting wasn't to big and not to small. During the day, the painting was invisible to the naked eye. But, once the sun goes down, the painting would appear in a light blue painting of a dragon, and on every new moon, it would glow. But not tonight, for it was a full moon. This was one of the very few "secret direction" this "clan" had.

The two strangers stopped and looked at the head of the dragon, which pointed north to a dark creepy alleyway. They then proceeded to the alleyway, making sure no one was following them.

Suddenly the two stopped and dived behind a nearby car. Not even a seconds later, a group of three girls past by the car. "Don't worry Nicole, the party is just two blocks away. Trust me", said one of the three girls. One of the two figures rolled their eyes.

The girls soon left, and the two mysterious figures creped from under the car and continued to the alley. From there,they went down the alley until they reached a dead end, and then proceeded to the wall to the left, where one of them said, " The night is my home," where, a glowing blue arrow appeared pointing down to a medium sized hole that was opening up.

The two sneaky figures then jumped inside, the last one hitting the arrow (to close the opening) before jumping in. Inside there was a very long hallway, the only light source coming from the very few torches along the wall. The two looked at each other before walking through the long dark hallway.

Just walking through the hallway, you can't help but get this eerie feeling of being watched, every step you take. Nonetheless, the duo made their way down the hallway.

Before long, the two were standing in a large room, almost the size of a football stadium. With a sigh of relief, the two took a seat in the front row, and waited for the "leader" to speak. Which didn't take long.

"Ah I'm glad you all could join us today. Today my brothers, I say today is the day our kind takes back the night" A loud round of applause and a few "You said it!" Followed. Once the crowd quieted down a bit, the leader continued, "Now my brothers, we start to take back the night, no more hiding from the outsiders. It is time we own the night!It is time for the treaty made many moons ago to be enforced once more. So, I say, I say it is time we own night!" The crowd bust in a cheer of approval. " And, we have the perfect plan from one of our own to make this happen. I have herd it. Our elders have herd it, and we believe it is the perfect plan. Please explain this plan, and if this plan is to succeed, you shall become our new leader. And maybe you will be the one to make this clan grow bigger, and stronger than it already is." The leader concluded. He then stepped aside and let a hooded figure step into the spotlight.

The figure stepped on the platform, and said, "Thank you sir. Alright, listen up. This is going to be a three step process, if of course, everything goes according to plan." A few laughs followed. "But, first thing first. Let's cause a little chaos with the law." The hooded figure then flipped the hood off, and with a scheming smirk, said,

" So, who's ready."
