*Disclaimer: I do not own Hellsing or any of the characters from the series. I only own my own character.*

I woke to the sound of... a clinking tea cup?...
"Oh good, your finally awake." A female voice, British I think, and she sounded slightly agitated.

My vision cleared and I could see my surroundings more clearly. I was in a massive room, laying in a bed to match. There was a small table to my left, with two chairs. In one of these chairs was a women, well-dressed, important looking, with incredibly long blonde hair. In the other chair, there was a young woman, short blonde hair with a light olive coloured uniform. Next to her was a beautiful weapon, a 30 mm, single-shot breech loader cannon. I had heard of these, and believe it was called 'the Harkonnen'. I wasn't sure how many existed, I believe it was only one. I loved weapons, especially heavy, anti-tank weapons, and those from early wars. Yeah, call me a nerd, dork or whatever else you can think of. I won't deny my love of guns.

Anyway, to my right, there was a tall man dressed in red sitting on another chair. And in one of the further corners was an older man. I had to assume he was a butler, due to his attire.
I heard a chuckle from the red man, "You don't seem at all frightened, even though you wake in a strange place like this."
"Shut it, Alucard." The important-lady snapped. So the red man's name was Alucard? The long haired woman continued, "What is your name?"
"Suri," I replied instantly, "Suri Nightingale."

"Well, Suri. My name is Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, but you will simply refer to me as Master or Sir. This," gesturing to the young blonde, "is Seras Victoria. I believe you two may have a fair bit in common. That idiot next to you is Alucard. And," she gestured to the butler, who stepped forward, "This is Walter C. Dornez, the mansion's butler."

She paused to see if I had anything to say. When I didn't, she continued, "Welcome to the Hellsing Organization. I suspect you do not remember the events of last night clearly?" I shook my head in response. "Then Alucard will explain everything that is necessary, while I sort through whatever paperwork is needed for your new life here."

Integra stood and left the room, Seras trailing behind her, the Harkonnen slung over her shoulder. Walter walked over, "If there is anything you require to make this change more comfortable, I shall try to do anything I am able to."
"Thank-you Walter." Alucard answered for me. I could speak for myself, and proved this by giving a "Thanks Walter" before he left the room.

*Sorry it's so short D: I don't like writing really long chapters because I know they don't turn out very good. I'll try to update more often.*
