One day I was walking home on a dark night. It was cold. I was wearing short shorts, a pink tank top, flip flops, and my fanny pack. I had just seen the movie, As above So below and I was mortified. It was pitch black and I couldn't see anything. I saw a light in the distance so I ran towards it in hope of maybe seeing where I was going. As I ran up to the light, I felt a sudden chill run down my spine. I felt as though someone was was watching me, waiting until I was vulnerable and unsuspecting so they could lunge out and grab me. I stood at the light pole. It was flickering. Flickering is often a bad omen and I sensed danger lurking around in the mysterious shadows. I heard laughter. It wasn't just any laughter, it was a baby's laughter. I told myself everything would be fine but I knew that it wouldn't. I thought about running but there was no where to run. I heard the laughter again, this time getting closer and closer. And soon I saw a baby stroller rolling towards me. At first I thought some mother had left her child. But the stroller stopped by itself. There was an eerie silence after that...I stood there, wondering if I should go up to the stroller. I was tempted to go, so I went. I took one step and the stroller started shaking. There was crying now. No, not crying, screams of eternal pain and misery. I wanted this nightmare to end. I wanted to go home and let it go. I picked up my cellphone in order to call a taxi. I called, they said they'll send one and it'll be here in about 5 minutes. I kept my eyes on the stroller making sure that it wouldn't do anything. It didn't move, no sounds. Nothing. The sounds of a car engine broke the silence. I turned my head in hopes of a taxi but to my misfortune, it was just a random car. I turned my head back to the stroller but I was baffled to find out that it had disappeared. I was scared. I felt like running. Running away from the madness that haunts this street. So I ran. As fast as I could. I ran until I could run no more. I fell, sobbing, wondering if I would ever see the light of day. I felt a strange power around me. It didn't feel normal. Something strange was happening. I sat on the ground wondering what mystical power could this be. To my delight I saw a taxi and climbed aboard on it. I asked the driver to take me home. My home was about an hour away from here. The driver was a strange man. He was polite, intimidating, intense, and sketchy. He tried talking to me, I didn't feel like talking. So after a light conversation, I told him I was tired and I wanted to sleep. He said alright and that he'll wake me up when we're almost there. The soothing sounds of the car allowed me to drift into sleep. One may think sleep is a place to escape from reality. They think it's a type of shelter. But sleep can be deceptive. It will play on your fears, exaggerate them enough to make you suffer. I was not welcomed to a warm sleep, I was dragged to a hellish nightmare. In my nightmare, I was being pulled into a tunnel. A dark tunnel. I was screaming and trying to break free from the pull. But it was too strong. I was sucked in. I was in a void of nothingness. I heard a voice. It was deep and raspy. I couldn't understand what it was saying. It wasn't English. It sounded extra terrestrial. I then saw red. Lots of red. And a mysterious symbol. The symbol of Hell. I then saw many red dots. I thought they were just flames. But they were the flames inside the eyes of a thousand demons. At the same time they lunged out to me in an attempt to attack my heart. But before they could reach my heart, I was awoken by the driver. He said that we were there. I thanked him for driving me and I paid him. I got out of the car. Relieved to be finally home. But I saw that it wasn't my home. The driver got out of the car as well. I asked him where he brought me. He said home. I told him this isn't my home. He said it's now going to be. I tried to run away from him. But he grabbed me in a forceful manner. I was screaming for help. Tears rolling down my face just as waves roll in the deep ocean blue. He took me inside his home, Strapped me to a chair, and gagged me. I was trying to break free but the chains held me back. I was screaming but the sounds were muffled by a dirty rag. All I could do was cry. That was all that was left to do...he then removed the rag from my mouth. I screamed with all my strength. In hopes that the neighbors would hear. But he quickly drowned out my screams with another rag. But this one smelled funny. I felt drowsy, like I'm going to faint but I have to stay awake. I couldn't afford to let my guard down...but...I...can't...sta-....awake.............any......more.........................................................................................I awoke to see the man pulling my hair. He held a butcher knife and he yanked my hair so I would be able to look at him. I believe it is my final minute. He says that I can have one last dying word. With the voice of a demon, I utter "MALPRG OE DONASDOGAMATASTOS"(Burn in hell in ancient demonic language). I screech but only to be met with the end of the knife. My body may have been gone, but my spirit will haunt you for an eternity
