" hello " I mumbled into my phone it's like three in the morning.

" Sammy you have to get to the hospital right now " I heard chase yell into the phone.

" why what's wrong " I asked in as I sat up as he grabbed my full attention.

" Sammy there was an accident Reese got hurt its bad Sammy just hurry. " he hung up on me I jumped out of my bed not bothering to put shoes or anything on I grabbed my car keys and ran out the front door. I sped to the hospital barely stopping at red lights. When I pulled up to the hospital Chase outside holding onto his sister Kara. I stopped and ran out the car towards chase.

" chase is he ok " I asked him he shook his head no tears forming in his eyes he walked over to me arms extended.

" chase his he " I didn't finish he just nodded and pulled me into a tight hug.

" Sammy he's gone chase is gone he not coming back. " he said shaking from crying I started sobbing in his shoulder

" can I see him. " I asked him he let me go and me and Kara grabbed each other for support as we followed chase to Reese's room. He was laid out on the bed he looked so pale it was scary he had cuts on his face you could see where they tried to stop the bleeding on his head I felt sick To my stomach. I had to leave the room my hands instantly went to my stomach where I the reminder of him his unborn child. I started crying so hard that I couldn't support my self and chase had to hold me up.

" how did this happen". I asked wanting to no how he died

" he was walking and went to cross the street and. And a car hit him. they say he was unresponsive when medics arrived. " I started crying again this could not be happening he was my best friend my kids dad my fiancé a brother a son. I sat down in a chair I was just staring at nothing when chase walked over and sat. " yea Sammy. "

" I am pregnant and he didn't know " I said just letting the tears fall.
