February 26th
Tasha, Adam, Nicole and Isabella could not believe that this was the morning when their university classes would begin. All three girls were now nervous about starting university, but they were also excited.
Isabella was already at the university of RayBourne with Storm and Adam and Tasha would be taking the train together. And Nicole would simply drive herself to her local campus. She was lucky.
While she was getting ready for the day, Nicole couldn't stop thinking of Riley.
Nicole never knew that she could actually like a guy. She never actually thought that she would have been in a relationship with one that she actually wanted to be in. It felt good to have a guy care for her other than her father, and it was even better that Riley now went to The University of Sandy Beach. He had told her that he had transferred there so he could complete is last year of study, and placement, locally.
Nicole fangirled to herself when Riley told her what he was studying to become.
A primary school teacher.
He wanted to be a primary school teacher.
And he wanted to work with the preps, the youngest students of the primary school.
Nicole thought that this was so cute. Riley was a big, strong manly man, and he wanted to work with little children.
That was why she fangirled.
It was so cute.
Nicole then got back to thinking of her own study.
First up today, Nicole would have her first lecture, tutorial and prac, a practical lab class. Nicole would also learn where her placement would be and she would attend the workplace once a week. It was exciting, but also making her a little anxious at the same time.
But what made this even better was the fact that Riley was taking her to class today. Riley wanted to be with Nicole on her first day of university and he thought that driving her there was one of the best ways he could help with her nerves.
It wasn't long before Riley arrived at Nicole's house, ready to pick her up. Nicole took one last look at the pile of things she would be taking for the day. It wasn't a big pile; all she had was a lecture pad, a tutorial notebook, and a few pens. Nicole had no idea what else she would need, but she decided that this would be a good start.
Nicole answered the door after she heard Riley's knock, and she enjoyed another kiss to her lips. This one felt better than all the other ones and Nicole was growing quite fond of kissing her boyfriend.
Boyfriend.
Her boyfriend.
Nicole still wasn't used to the fact that she had a boyfriend.
A real live boyfriend.
It felt strange to actually say that she had a boyfriend.
But she liked it.
"Ready for your first day, Nic?" Riley smiled before he kissed Nicole again.
Nicole smiled back, fangirling inside over the nickname that Riley had given her. It wasn't the most original nickname, but Riley had started calling her that so Nicole liked it, "ready as I'll ever be," she replied.
"You don't have to be nervous, Nic," Riley continued, "you'll love it."
"I hope so."
Nicole then followed Riley out to his car and it wasn't long before they set of for The University of Sandy Beach. Nicole had been to the university open day last year and she thought that it was a nice campus. She had some idea of her way around, but she was now worried that she would get herself insanely lost and be the only person late to class. She really didn't want that to happen.
