Y/N sat on her trusty steed, a simple brown horse with a short, black mane and tail. She and her stallion friend were assigned to the back of the small army that lay waiting at midnight. She watched her commander, Mr Jungil, walk in front of the group as he lifted a flag almost as if to start a race, but this time, the race was to attack the frontline of Gerudo soldiers who stood in front of the gates of one of the many castles taken by Ganondorf after his rise to power.
Mr Jungil's long, dark navy fin swayed behind him like many other Zora's. He held up high a yellow flag that glowed in the night, it was adorning the crest of the royal Hylian family, a symbol Y/N now stood and fought for. He bought the flag down signalling to attack.
Y/N's steed reared up but shot off like lighting into the battle. She saw her fellow friends as they all rode into the rebellious battle against the Gerudos of whom were not expecting an all out attack and quickly let their swords glimmer in the moonlight. Many rebels put a heavy amount of trust in their stress as they readied their bows and shot blazing missiles at the enemy. The others, including Y/N, drew their own swords and guided their steeds straight to the oncoming attack.
Y/N And her stallion ran by many Gerudos, of whom she bloddily beheaded and ran on to the next. But as she held her sword out to the right of her, a soldier attacked from her left cutting the poor stallions legs clean in half and rendering him defenceless and rendering Y/N face first on the ground. The guard ran up to the disabled Y/S but her loyal friend kicked the soldier in the shin with his back leg. She looked back and saw the stallions eyes look at her as the blood loss got to him and he slowly closed them forever. Looking around she saw many of the rebels doing the same. Rage filling her she stood up and walked to the guard who was still on the ground in pain. Lifting her sword high she looked into the guards eyes, the golden orbs of a female looked back at her, but Y/N was too deep in this war to care. She bought the sword down.
Ganondorf stood before Aveil, her long red pony tail neatened before her meeting with her king.
"Lord Ganondorf, what may I do for you?" She asked with a respectful bow.
"It has come to my attention that there was an attack on the wall of soldiers defending the east most castle under your command." He spoke, his voice calm but still booming like thunder.
"Yes My Lord. I'm sorry to report that. Whilst the attack did defeat our first line of defence, they retreated before attacking again a total of 23 rebel bodies were counted." She explained.
"Good. Has there been any sign of the 'hero' anywhere?" He asked his head laying against his fist as he sat on his throne.
"No my Lord." She spoke still bowing.
"..... any sign of a Y/S?" He asked again only hesitantly.
"There was one reported in the previous battle My Lord. Female, S/C." She spoke and ever so slightly looked up at her king. "My Lord, do you wish to take actions about the Y/S?" She spoke almost knowingly.
"No, I wish to make plans for when the hero arrives. It has been 7 years, he can't be far now."
"You seem so sure, my Lord." She spoke with a raised brow.
"Trust in me, Aveil, I am."
Y/N watched outside a window from her seat in a Hylian bar, a green tunic wearing boy carrying a mean looking sword. She put down the glass of whiskey she drunk from and followed the boy outside and wherever he went. When they finally reached a somewhat private place, or at least one not crowded, she called to him by name.
"Link!" She shouted. He spun around and looked towards the Y/S. She smirked.
"Finally off to see the king I see. You sure you're prepared?" She asked him with a smile. He nodded, remaining mute.
"Can I ask a favour of you?" She spoke stepping closer. He nodded, not being one to deny a request from an innocent townsmen.
"Fight me." She growled unsheathing her tattered sword from it's hidden hilt and pointing it towards the Kokiri boy turned man. Link in turn got his weapon and aimed it at her.
"You see, I've been told so many stories about you. A hero wearing green, a fairy by his side, but I need to know you're strong enough to fight Ganondorf himself." She walked ever so closer to him.
"So hero, can you?"
