Hey! I'm Lauren. I'm 16 years old and have 3 brothers. Jai (17), Jonah (14) and Zac (11). Jai and I have a really good bond and tell each other almost everything. tho sometimes we do fight like all siblings do. Jonah and I are rather enemies than friends. I don't know why but we just don't get along too well most of the time. my best friends are a boy called Brennan who I've known for all my life and my crazy girlfriends Maya, Zoe and Lea We're going to the local private high school here in our area in Toronto. it's the first day of school and i already slept in....(welcome to my life)
(so i'm gonna write from my POV so just feel like you are me...if that makes sense)
I wake up from my older brother jai smacking a pillow in my face.
''Get up we're gonna be late for the first day of school.''
''wait...WHAt???'' i scream into my brothers face realizing what he just said.''SHIT!!!'' i jump out of my bed hearing my mom yell ''No swearing in this house lauren Romy Heldburg!!!''
''Sorry mom!'' i reply while putting my socks on hectically. i rush into the bathroom where i encounter my younger brother Jonah. he is using MY toothbrush and that is the point where i loose it. because i am a very hygienic person and cant stand sharing bottles or glasses with other people let alone my toothbrush.
''JJOOOOONNNNAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!! Why are u using my toothbrush?!?!?? EEEEEEWWWWWW UGHHHHHH!! I HATE YOUUUU!!'' i scream.
''I couldn't find mine. chill it's not that big of a deal. i don't suffer from any desease!'' he screams back at me.
''No you ARE a desease!!!'' i fire back.
our mom comes in. she's not happy about our behaviour and says ''YOu guys better stop right now. What's gotten into you ?!?! now leave each other alone and go eat breakfast. Zac is already downstairs'' in a serious tone.
if she's using that tone you should do what she says or you're screwed. just a side note...
i dress myself and run down our ostentatious staircase (pic)

my brothers and i are eating breakfast downstairs and get ready to leave for school.
in the car everyone is just super quiet and doesn't say a word. after a 30 minute drive we are finally there and get out of the car to meet our friends.

''Bye mom, bye Zac!!! I'm going to Brennan's after school. see you later!'' i say as i shut the door.
''thanks mom, I'll be home later today I have football practice after school. bye, love you'' Jai said while getting out the car.
Jonah just left with a simple ''Bye mom see you after school!''
Jai walks over to my side of the car and says '' Uhhh to Brennan's huh?'' and just winks at me.
''oh shut up Jai!'' i reply because he knows that we are JUST best friends but he always teases me about it.
'' Fine I'll stop. I'm just playin.'' Jai quickly says.
We hug each other and I say ''bye, love u, see u after school.''
''love u too little bean,...Oh umm should I pick you up from Brennan's after practice?'' He asks me.
''Yeah sure that'd be fine !''
And then off we go into a new year.
as soon as i step into the building i hear my friends SCREAMING ''LLLAAAAAUURREEEEENNNN get yooo sexy ass over here BIIIITCHHHHH!!!''
*giggling* '' OH MY GOD u guys are honestly so freaking embarrassing...'' I say covering my face with my hands because the whole school was now looking at me.
i hug all my friends and we exchange the newest gossip that happened over the break. (u know the deal, sis)
Maya asks me ''So what's going on with u and Jacob?''
(Jacob has been my crush for about half a year now and he is just the literal definition of perfect. he is that boy that every girls wants to be asked out to prom by. YES HE IS THAT ONEEE!!! him and i stayed in contact since our biology project last semester and things are going 'pretty well' we met a couple times and we text a lot and snap and stuff but nothing really serious happened. we just kissed once and i don't know on what terms we are now tbh and i didn't have the balls to ask him)
i just said ''Well,... I don't know! can we please not talk about it here, where everyone's listening?'' while blushing
but my friends weren't having it
'' BITCH WHY R U BLUSHING!??!? WHAT HAPPENEEEEEEED '' Zoe almost hypervantilating
''Zoe don't u know, NO tea NO shade. so if you'll excuse me i gotta get to class. see you later !'' i reply
on my way to class i see Jacob and I'm literally exploding inside but play it off and just smile at him like normally would and he comes right at me and puts his hands on my waist as he pushes me softly against the lockers.
i start laughing. ''Jacob what are you doing?'' i ask while he starts kissing my neck and mumbles ''i missed you babygirl'' *I smile bc secretly that's what i wanted to hear from it)
''Babygirl?!??!'' i reply kind of shocked ''When did that happen?''
''Ever since we kissed i can't get you out of my head. I'm sorry i have to tell you like this but I can't keep it a secret anymore.'' Jacob says while putting his hands on the sides of my face.
''Do you know that you are very cute, Jacob? I gotta get to class. See u later?'' my confused ass just quietly says.
''Wait'' Jacob stops me as i get myself out of his grip wanting to go to class ''One more thing before u go...'' and he just leans in and kisses me.
we pull away and many people are looking at us and i hear some girl say '' are u kidding he is with HER?!?!? That should be me I'm way prettier...''
Jacob looks at her and says '' I'm sorry but you're not...Also don't talk about my Girl like that if I'm around.''
I smile and say goodbye while heading to my classroom.
