Once upon a time

Not so long ago

There was a little boy

To the forest he would go

Mama warned him not to

Daddy told him no

So he pitched a fit

The worst tantrum he would throw

They said it was okay

But the dark part he was told not to stray

He promised he'd stay by

But he ran off giggling at his lie

He roamed the dark and played

Until night is when he stayed

He couldn't find his way back so he cried

He wandered about wishing he hadn't lied

He heard a voice behind him

So he turned around

Up upon a limb

A man he found

"Do you know the way? The way back to my home?"

He asked as he looked up at the other

"You see I'm all alone"

He wanted to go home, to see his father and mother

"Little boy little boy can't you see?"

The man said lowly

"You wandered away and now found me."

The boy backed away slowly

"You cannot leave just yet for we've only met."

The mans head turned all around

The boy made not a sound

"Little boy little do not flee for you are now with me"

The boy cried and begged to leave

"My mother and father are missing me!"

The man just laughed and grabbed him up

"You have certainly run out of luck"

The boy thrashed and squirmed around

His screams and cried did resound

"You shouldn't cry for you shall see"

The man grinned widely.

"It isn't wise to be sad around me."

The boy stared idley.

"For I am the smiler! Frowns are not welcome"

He grabbed the boys face and laughed.

"To a personal hell you have come."

He stretched the boys cheeks

So he bared all his teeth

And a two stitches he made

One on each side

The boy how he wailed

To no avail

For no one would hear his pleas

The man continued up to his eyes

And opened them far too wide

He stitched them as well

And laughed loudly

"My boy welcome to hell."
