B R O T H E R

JISOO WALKED BACK home, disappointed that she couldn't catch Jennie before her lunch break ended. She, once again, attended morning classes and had to go to the library to tutor some kid, but along the way, she noticed a a small shop selling waffles.

"Can't believe I bought one for her.. she wasn't even at school."

Jisoo sighed and stared at the waffle she had bought for Jennie, knowing that it was her favorite dessert. She then took a big chomp off it.

"I wanted to apologise for bursting out back then." She sighed. "But how come she's sneaking out of school now? What if she's hanging out with the bad kids.."

She shook the thoughts away, deciding that her little sister was old enough to take care of herself. She looked at her watch, realizing that she was running late.

"Ahh, seriously," she wheezed as she began running. "This sucks."

"Thank you for tutoring me again, unnie," the young girl exclaimed as she packed her stuff. "I'm sorry for being so slow.."

Jisoo chuckled and ruffled Ella's hair.

"Don't be sorry," she smiled. "You're only human. You can't be good at everything."

"What are you bad at then, unnie?"

Jisoo bit her lower lip and hummed as she thought about it. Truthfully, she was academically gifted. Plus, she had lots of small talents like whistling, dancing, singing, writing and drawing. What was the bad at...?

"Ah," she smiled. "I'm horrible at... Tying shoelaces."

Ella snorted. "R-Really? But it's so easy!"

"So you can do it?" Jisoo asked, gesturing for her to show her shoes. "Let me see!"

"Here!" Ella exclaimed, raising her leg. "Look, I tied them myself this morning!"

"Wow," Jisoo chuckled and nodded her head, looking impressed. "You're really good at that. I'm jealous."

"But, you know," the young girl began, clasping her hands together as she smiled brightly. "Oppa is really good at everything! He's perfect!"

Jisoo was confused; did she mean her older brother or a boyfriend?

"Ohh, really?" She wow-ed again. "Is oppa coming to pick you up today?"

"Yes! Oh, there he is!"

Ella pointed to a sleek car that just parked right outside of the library. Jisoo helped the girl pack her bag and quickly grabbed her own stuff, as well.

"Let's go, Ella," Jisoo smiled. "Don't keep him waiting."

"Yep! Thanks, unnie!"

Jisoo followed her out of the library. Seems like Ella's 'oppa' really was her older brother. And he seemed filthy rich; Jisoo didn't know much about cars, but she for sure knew that the car he was riding was very pricey.

When the door opened, Jisoo's eyes landed on a familiar male.

"Convenience store boy?" She muttered. Her eyes widened when Ella ran over to him and hugged him, not believing her eyes. "her perfect brother is that redhead??"

The redhead noticed Jisoo staring at them. He smirked and let Ella sit in the backseat.

Jisoo felt unsure of what to do when he suddenly walked over to her.

"So you're her tutor? Thanks. You've been helping her out a lot."

"Um... Yeah.." Jisoo stammered, still feeling confused. She also felt hungry. Her stomach suddenly rumbled loudly.

The redhead stared down at her, fighting back a smirk.

"You hungry?"

Jisoo, who became bright red, wrapped her arms around her stomach.

"N-No."

The redhead smirked widely and grabbed her arm, pulling her with him towards his car. Jisoo's eyes widened and she tried to free herself, but to no avail.

"Ya! What are you doing!?"

"Let me buy you some delicious food!"

For some reason, when he turned around and grinned widely at her, Jisoo just couldn't refuse.
