The Yin Yang lineage... it all started when the first quirk was born. The being with the first quirk ever recorded, was a Yang. Since then, Yin and Yangs' started their appearance every century. Only one could be chosen every 100 years for each power to accompany their tamer's quirk(s). Yin; earth, dark, and cold. Yang; heaven, heat, and light. To prove one has been chosen, the individual will have the mark situated on their chest where their heart is of one of the siblings from the symbol, symbolizing which one of the two; Yin or Yang, is. And this very luck, was bestond upon (l/n) (y/n), out of the potential 7.53 billion other beings. But good luck comes curse - the curse of running and hiding from those who want to use your power.

(l/n) (y/n) was chosen? You've got to be kidding me? You're joking right? Of course, you are! I didn't know you were so good at jokes, Akani! (l/n) (y/n), the five-year-old? (l/n) (y/n), the orphan? (l/n) (y/n), the DNA Dissect?

Unlike any experiment, her eyes weren't made different colours. Her cheek bones weren't  reshaped to perfect symmetry. Nor was her nose was longer and straighter than the one she had been born with. Absolutely none of that.
