Chap 6: Breakdown

Conversations in italics means that the characters are talking in korean ^^

(3rd person pov)

"Hi, y/n," Taehyung offered a smile in greeting towards the girl, who was seating opposite of Jungkook.

Jungkook turned towards Taehyung's voice sharply, shocked that the voice had sounded so familiar. (JK was sitting back facing the entrance so he wouldn't have known that someone was approaching them, especially someone he knew)

"What are you doing here?" Jungkook asked. It was one of the few faces that he didn't really want to see at the moment.

He didn't expect the boy to be here in school at all. Even if he wanted to study english, the chance that he picked this school was quite unlikely. From where their temporary place of stay was located, this school was a little farther than one other school, so even if taehyung wanted to go to a school, that school would have been a better choice.

"I was looking everywhere for you," Taehyung said, grunting slightly as he sat down on the bench next to Jungkook.

"How did you know I was here?" Jungkook asked, frowning a little bit.

Though he was surprised, he didn't really like the idea that he was being followed here.

"I saw you leave yesterday morning, which was weird since you're not the type who will wake up early. So I woke namjoon up and asked him if he knew where you were going. He told me about this school," Taehyung replied honestly without any sense of jungkook's irritation, "ya why didn't you say earlier? I wanted to learn english too you know."

Jungkook didn't believe it. He told namjoon to keep it a secret. In fact, he was so sure that their group leader was someone he could trust.

He kept silent, not wanting to answer taehyung.

(Currently he's feeling a little betrayed -- and the blow is much harder since he looks up to namjoon. The rest of my explanation will come soon!)

(back to y/n pov)

"How did you guys know each other?" Jasmine asked, with her mouth full and munching on her food.

It was a funny and cute sight so I broke into a smile.

I was glad Jas was there. She always unintentionally brightens up the atmosphere, allowing everyone to relax a little so we could strike a more comfortable conversation. Even taehyung seemed more at ease when he heard a question he understands.

"We... dance (together)."

"Really? So you do cover dances?"

"Yes." (Taehyung doesn't seem to understand the question that well but agrees anyway in a polite gesture)

"Oh. Do you have an idol group you like?"

"Oh... you know... Bigbang?"

Jasmine stood up instantly, slamming her hands on the table while she got up. "Heck yeah!" she replied while doing a gun sign pointing towards taehyung, " I like you already."

"Didn't you like him the moment he walked in?" I mumbled while taking a spoon full of food.

"Well... then I like him more now," Jas shrugged with her facial expression. ()

While Jasmine and Taehyung were talking, I couldn't help but notice Jungkook who was eating quietly. Although I didn't understand a word of their conversation, I did notice the contrast in their expressions.

Taehyung was happy, but Jungkook... it was a look of surprise but it darkened a little for a brief moment before he masked it. I couldn't read his expression, but he went dead quiet after that.

I wasn't sure if Taehyung noticed...

Maybe not. He would have asked if he knew.

Hoping that I was reading too much on things, I focused on my meal and their conversation.

An author's loooooong note (I think i got my long-windedness from my mum)

I'm sorry for the late update!! I got stuck at this chapter for the whole of last week. I had plot ideas but i wasn't sure on how to present them nicely. Not sure about you guys but a friend of mine used to say how she didn't like stories that had different povs --- something like the last few books of lorien legacy if you read it. So I was conflicted that I wanted to give up to be honest.

I hope it turned out okay and you guys don't get too confused. A little confusion should be fine.

I'm supposed to drop hints after all heh heh ^^

I hope everyone is enjoying their holidays. Exams should be over by now... right?

Meanwhile I spent my time watching fairy tail, goblin slayer and busied myself with playing identity v so the update was delayed.

I'll review this again before I go onto the next chapter but I'm pretty satisfied on how it turned out :) (you can tell me on how to improve but yup I think I'm making progress)
