delilah yelped as someone pounced on her from behind, the book she was reading flying from her hands. she quickly whipped around and slumped in relief as she found herself in liza koshy's arms. "for fuck's sake," she groaned loudly. "you scared the living hell out of me."
"well," the tan girl grinned. "not yet."
delilah arched an eyebrow in confusion, but it's quickly wiped away when the 'vlog squad' came bumbling into her house. "oh," she stated flatly. "yeah, i'm terrified."
david grinned as he threw an arm around her shoulders, "we just wanted to introduce you to the rest of us."
"you didn't think to pick up a phone?"
"we did," zane pouted. "it went to voicemail."
she nodded, "my phone has been glitching a lot lately."
"you might want to get that checked out," a guy clad in tattoos furrowed his eyebrows. "you could be getting hacked."
she tensed, "i didn't think about that."
david gave her shoulder a comforting squeeze before guiding her closer to the group of people. "this is scott," he motioned to the guy with tattoos. "carly and erin," he pointed to a girl with fiery red hair and a girl with stringy dirty blonde hair.
"nice to meet you," delilah smiled shyly, supressing the urge to curl closer to david. they didn't know each other well but she was most familiar with him at the moment.
"this is kristen," david pointed to the girl beside scott. "toddy and corinna," he nodded to the guy sporting a large grin and the blonde with a smirk on her face. "this is alex," he motioned to his best friend. "last but not least--"
"i'm josh." the said man cut david off with a cheeky smile.
"i know," delilah nodded, holding out a hand for the man to shake. "big fan."
"wow, thank you."
"i would've brought dom but i figured you wouldn't want him in your house." david told the girl.
"not really," she admitted.
zane smirked and practically ripped her out of david's grasp, wrapping his arms around her petite waist. "baby," he began. "this is officially your house warming party!"
delilah shrunk back into zane as everyone erupted in cheers. "i don't even have any furniture." she informed the group.
"that's never stopped us before."
