"Woohoo! Time for another camping trip!" Yelled the patriotic american, Alfred F. Jones. He had been preparing for this trip for weeks, and nothing was going to stop him. Even if his friends and family had decided to bail on him for other 'important' things. He knew they just didn't want to come along. It had taken him about two and a half hours to get from his house to his favorite camping spot near a large and beautiful lake.

He got his tent set up in less than ten minutes, and was already getting his camp fire started. He kept struggling with the lighter and gave up, deciding to do it the old fashioned way. Striking two stones together. Even after thirty minutes of doing so, he got frustrated, tossing the two stones aside and heaved a sigh.

"Hey, you okay?" Asked a feminine voice.

Alfred looked up to see the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen. (h/l) (h/c) hair blowing in the slight breeze with (e/c) eyes carrying a hint of sadness and concern. He couldn't speak due to his admiration for the girl, but shook his head and snapped back to reality.

"O-oh. Yeah. I just can't get this camp fire started.." He admitted sheepishly.

"Ah, no worries. I can help you." She said, giving him a smile that made his stomach twist in knots.

The strange girl took two different stones and had struck them together, once, twice, three times before she got a good spark to set the dry sticks and leaves to catch on fire.

He watched in amazement as she took less than two minutes to get one started.

"That was amazing! How'd you do that?" He asked, watching as she handed him the stones.

"You need two stones that are dry. If one is even the slightest bit damp, there's no chance in getting a spark going." She explained.

"Ah.. that makes sense.. I'm Alfred by the way, and I'm the hero!" He exclaimed, doing one of his hero poses, making the (h/c) giggle.

"Nice to meet you Alfred. I'm (y/n) (l/n)." She said turning to walk away.

"Wait! Where is your camp set?"

"Uhm.. i'm not really sure.. I think it's been about a week since i've seen my camp.." She rubbed her neck in embaressment.

"Oh.. well, why not stay here until tomorrow? Then we can search for your camp together!" He said happily, offering her some fries he had packed for the trip.

"Sounds great. Thanks Alfred."

"No problem dudette!"

Alfred had woken up to see (y/n) gone. He frantically stood up, and left the tent, his hair standing up like his cowlick, but he didn't care. He searched for about three minutes before spotting her walking his way.

"Hey dudette, where'd you go?" He asked, relieved she had left to find her camp again.

"I don't know really.. I just woke up next to the lake.. I guess I sleep walk or something." She laughed, giving off a slight yawn.

Alfred gave off a slight laugh before fixing his hair, minus the cow lick that never obeyed gravity.

"Well, shall we grab something to eat and head out to find your camp?" He asked, going back to his tent and grabbed some hamburgers and diet cokes for the two of them.

"Sure thing. Last I remember where it was, it was near some trees that looked like they were criss-crossing to make an X.. and some berry bushes.."

"Oh! I know where that is! Follow me dudette! I go there all the time for the view of the lake."

(y/n) almost gagged on her food.
