Screams- of terror, pain and every possible horrific emotion one can think of. Small hand barely wrapped around my wrist, pale white hands, pulling me.The grip would leave behind bruises. Together we ran. The running never seemed to end, nor did the endless labyrinth of corridors. My lungs burning, muscles in my legs soaring in pain but I knew I couldn't stop, I can't afford to. Jumping and tripping over dead bodies with deranged figures and parts twisted in painful angles.Slipping on puddles of fresh crimson blood, belonging to the once alive creatures, spread across the floor. Terrified, apprehensive and anxious we ran as our lives depended on it... which it did. And that's when I saw something rather someone who shook me to my core. We were passing through a cross section and I looked to my right. For a moment, everything came to a halt and everything went dark. Just me and the stranger staring into each others eyes. There was no clarity in his facial features except his eyes. A pair of dark red orbs surrounded with black cloudy sclera. I could hear my heart beat hard in my chest, I could feel the pulse throb in my neck. And somehow that moment passed and I broke out of my momentary trance. We ran faster if that was possible.
