Toni's P.O.V

"Are you sure? What if something bad happens? Like, really bad." "It will be okay, Darce. Don't worry!"

Darcy has been questioning me for the past 30 minutes. Right now, we're walking towards our first class. Luckily, I have biology with Darcy and Dalton, so we can talk about this party thing. I just haven't seen Dalton today.

Is he even at school?

"Darce, have you seen Dalton today?" "Now that I think of it, no, I haven't seen him. Maybe he's just ill?"

Darcy and I just assumed Dalton is ill, so we kept talking about Saturday. "Okay, so, back to the party on Saturday.-" "Toni." "Yes?"

"Have you ever been to a party before?"

No. "Why yes of course! Who doesn't go to parties?" Me, because I'm awkward and I'd rather stay home and watch tv or draw or do anything else than to go to a party.

"Toni, you have never been to a party before, neither have I, so why should we go to a party not knowing what to do and probably embarrass ourselves in front of whole junior and senior year?"

She has point though. But what about Alexander Parker?

"We won't embarrass ourselves, we'll be just fine, how bad can it be?" "Oh believe, you won't be 'just fine'."

"Dalton, where the f were you?! Toni and I thought you were ill!" And Darcy punches him on the arm. "And you even scared us!" "Okay okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Wow, you both really are aggressive for two little girls."

Dalton's being nice again, great! I'll let you guess how much percent of sarcasm that sentence contained.

"Just answer the question, where were you?" "Just a bit late, I was hungry but my mother had chased me out of the house before I could grab a snack, so I just went to the local bakery and got some croissants." "So you didn't have breakfast?!" "Oh yes, of course I did, I was just hungry."

Mood.

"Well, now that you're here, knock some sense into Toni and tell her that it's a bad idea to go to Alex's party Saturday." "Who's, Alex Laurent's?"

Is there really something wrong with that? I just want to go to a fucking party, that's all!!!

"Yes... maybe-" "It's a yes." "Ohhhhh"

Okay, so now I'm mad.

"Why is it such a bad idea? You act like if it's a sin to go to a party one night and have fun at a party that a senior is hosting. I bet you would do the same if you knew your crush is attending to a party and wants to meet you there, so don't act like if it's such a wrong choice to make!" I let out.

Gosh, that felt good.

"I never said it was a bad idea to go to Alex's party, I'm going myself." Dalton finally says. Thank you dalton, thank you. "What?! But you just said that we wouldn't be 'just fine' If we went!""I didn't know you were talking about the party, I just wanted to join the conversation."

Aaaaand he's back.

"You're impossible.""Well, you can't just tell Toni. not to go to the party, if she wants to go, then she will. I'll be going too-""Yeah, but you're super popular and play on the schools sports team and Alex is your friend and you've been to parties before, Toni and I have never been to a party before. I think it's better if-" "You think it's better for her to listen what the hell you have to say? Come on, Darce. You would want to do the exact same if you knew your crush was going too. Don't be so bossy about this! You can't decide what Toni can and can not do in her free time. If she wants to go to that party, then fine, she's going, period."
