Later Jody heard the front door slam and the sound of footsteps on the stairs. Kingsley appeared at the door.

Hey Monkey, made 30 quid at the market. That music box sold well and those earrings that Grant bloke bought mum.

I don't care. Leave me alone Kingsley

30 quid is nothing really, I know where we can get tonnes more stuff. Phones, laptops, tablets.

What are you on about?

That kids home. You tell us how to get in and find out when everyone will be out, we raid the place and we could make big money.

Are you out of your mind? I would never help you do that.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear. You are going to draw a detailed plan of the kids home, of the rooms, of the ways in and out of the building, of the places where valuables are kept. And you are going to speak to your little friends and find out when they'll be out of the house.

No. No way.

Fine have it your way. Kingsley grabbed Jody's phone off her desk and stormed out the room. Before she had a chance to do anything she heard the click of the lock. Kingsley had locked her in.

Jody ran to the door, she tried the handle, the door was definitely locked. Fear and panic flooded her body, and she started hammering at the door.

Kingsley! Kingsley! Let me out! Let me out! She screamed and shouted and pounded and kicked the door with all her might but to no avail. She shouted until her voice was so hoarse she could barely whisper and slumped to the floor in exhaustion.
