Noobie
Oh gosh.... what do we do?
I was pacing our room, trying to think of something to do. Obviously!
Rachel had come back a couple minutes ago with the answer. I still can't believe that they aren't going to anything! They won't even send us out to search for her! I could just.... wait that's it!
"Guys I've got it!" Both Rachel and Matt look up from where their sitting. (the bed and desk chair if you really wanna know!)
"What if we follow her?"
"Didn't we already cross that off our list? The guys made it clear that they don't want us outside, or anywhere near," Rachel said looking down again. Why did things always have to be so complicated?
Because that's what life is. A giant game full of ups, downs, and its always complicated.
Oh great now I'm hearing things!
Everyone was looking at me weirdly. Shoot, I said that out loud!
"Wait, you can hear voices?" Matt asked me looking slightly shocked, might I add. I nod.
"Well ask it how to get to where Adam is!" Rachel practically tackled me over. Wait, Adam?
"Hold on. What does Adam have to do with all of this?" I asked Rachel. She let go of me, and looked kinda sheepish.
"I never told you guys?" We both shook our heads.
"Well, the first night we got here I overheard Mitch and Jerome talking. Being how the awesome ninja I am, I overheard them talking about how Adam was kidnapped. Sorry for not telling you, I thought they would've by now." When she finished she started rubbing the back of her head.
"Well, now that we've gotten that over with, what do we do?" I asked again. Their heads snapped in my direction.
"What?
"You were supposed to ask the voice how to get to Adam, or are we gonna go ahead and find a unicorn instead?" Rachel replied. Now it was my turn to look sheepish.
"Oh right!"
Uh, mister voice can you show us the way to Adam?
Now why would I do that?
Because apparently our friend went after him, and she was listening to a voice like yours.
Oh the little slave of mine? Sure, that ones about to become useless, if you know what I mean.
I could feel myself going pale. I hadn't even realized it until I was being slapped by Matt.
"NOOBIE!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! WAKE UP!!!" I could hear him screaming at me, and shaking me. It hurt!
"What happened?" I'd managed to speak after Rachel finally got Matt to stop.
"Well, you fainted, and was out for about two minutes. I wanted to slap you, but Matt won Rock- Paper -Scissors," Rachel said as she stuck her tongue out at Matt. He did the same to her.
"Oh."
"So what did the voice say?" Matt asked. This made Rachel look at me too.
"It said... uh..." I stuttered. Oh gosh what do I do? I can't tell them about Keld, they'd freak out!
Tell them to follow the river, grab some horses that are out there, and go through the forest to a castle.
Wow, thanks!
I repeated what the voice just told me. They both looked slightly surprised.
"Well, now that that's figured out, how do we get out?" Matt said with a frown. Aw we've got a frowny Matt! (Sorry Matt I had to do it! XD)
That's right! I'd actually forgotten that since the 'incident' they locked all of us in our room. Yeah, so far they weren't nice people!
There's a window idiot.
Oh yeah the window!
"Guys what about the window?"
"Well, let me check," Matt got up from where he was sitting to see the window. Sure enough it was unlocked, and one of Keld's boots was there!
"Yeah, I think that'd work. Clearly that's how Keld escaped!" He said, walking back while holding up her boot.
"Then Lezzgo!" Rachel says running out the window. Luckily we were on the first floor, otherwise that would not have ended well.
"I'm ok!" Both Matt and I chuckled. We finally were all outside. It feels great to actually see the trees and stuff!
"Well, we better get-" I was cut off when I heard a knock on the door.
"What do we do?" I heard Rachel panic.
I know how about you hug the wall under the window until the leave?
Great thanks! I repeated, once again, what the voice had said to the others.
"I guess it might work..." I heard Matt mumble. I heard the door swing open.
"Hurry up!" I hissed while pushing them down. I soon joined them, and I could hear the footsteps coming closer.
Please don't see us, please don't see us!
"Shoot they're gone!" I could hear the voice say. It was Jason.
I heard more footsteps come over.
"Well who's the one who forgot to lock the windows in here?"
"I think that was you," I heard a third voice talk as he patted the shoulders of the second. (this sounds so weird....)
The second voice was Tyler, while the third was Quienten.
"Well are we gonna go after them?" Tyler asked the two.
"You can't go after them. Ty would freak. He already thinks he's the reason Keld left." Great another voice has to butt in! It's Seto's for all you weirdos who wanna know. (Just kidding, there are no weirdos here, unless you eat unicorns. Thats just a tad creepy!)
"Well then what do we do?" I heard Jason respond.
"We keep this a secret from everyone, unless they've seen them around here."
"Fine," I heard Tyler mutter. I heard the window close above us, and the shuffling of feet go quietly away. Soon there was the sound of a door shutting, and locking, and everything was silent.
We waited about the minutes before we decided to get up and check.
"The coast is clear," I heard Matt say still looking into the room. We got up from under there, and looked around, just to be sure.
"We better get going, we may not make it in time if we stay here!" I heard Rachel speak this time. I knew she would miss Tyler, since she had a crush and all, so she hadn't spoken a word since we heard his voice.
We all nod, and head in the direction of the river. Let's get this over with...
