Veronica POV:
"... I promise if I gave shit about what you wanted to do I would have ASKED! Now stop jerking around and send me the damn INFORMATION ON WHAT I TOLD YOU I NEEDED OSCAR!" I sluggishly prop myself up on my arms as I waited for my vision to clear up. Eventually I see Xavier clutching his fist and with hair in every direction.
"You ok babe?" I ask quietly.
He turned around shocked and regretful. "I'm sorry babe, did I wake you?" He got up and lied down next to me in the bed, placing my head on his chest. "I'm sorry." He said again.
"It's fine, it's about time that I woke up anyways."
"You were only sleeping for like five hours and it's like 1 a.m." He explained.
"Well yea, and I know you must have been devastated." I say as I made a joke of his clinginess. He cracks me a smile, for which I lightly return. "So when's your first meeting?" I ask.
He started caressing my arm. "We already had it. You were sleeps innocently. It was about three hours ago."
"Three? And you didn't wake me."
"I barely made it in time to the meeting it was like ten minutes after we made it to the hotel. And you were already out of it. So I let you be and attended the meeting." I decided to let him win, because the growl of my stomach suggested other things. I look up at him as he pushed out a breath and smiled. "Go ahead."
I reach for the hotel phone and put the phone to my ear as I heard the dial tone. As I waited for someone to pick up I opened the drawer to a menu, scanning it's meals, ingredients, and pictures. I grew hungrier by the second.
"Hello, welcome to Dê Royàl Hotel, this is Margot how may I serve you this evening?" Margot asked sweetly.
"I hate to bother, but I want room service-" I was broken off by a laugh and as I looked over Xavier he was smirking at me. I clearly did something wrong and he's making fun of me.
"What kind of room service would you like? Would you like a maintenance woman to clean your room at this time? Would you like supper? Room spa service, or-"
I look Xavier and he reads the embarrassment on my face, tries to hide his smile. "Just food service." I assure her.
"Alright, let me transfer you to the kitchen." Then line ended after that and as I glared at Xavier he shrugged his shoulders.
"Good evening this is Chef Netvate, what would you like on the menu?" He asks kindly.
"I was looking at the Salmon Soufflé, with the house tossed salad, maybe a half slab of rib, with Mac and cheese?" I ask.
"Will that be all?"
"My boyfriend would like a double quarter pounder with chili cheese fries." I say knowing him already.
"Alright we'll have your food within 45 minutes."
"Thank you Chef Netvate." I say before hanging up again.
"A double quarter pounder? They have those?" I tossed him the menu to see for himself. "Wow, I knew I loved you for a reason." He put it down before blowing me a kiss going back over to his desk.
I walk to him and put my hands on his shoulders and started massage slowly. "What work has my baby all stressed out?" I ask as I watch his head sway from side to side and he let out small groans.
