Throughout my entire life I would always tell myself, people who believe in teleportation sound complete ridiculous, but all of that changed when something unusual would happen to anyone. I'm Liam and i'm eleven years old, you may think nothing can happen to you but sometimes things you don't think of actually become real. This is the story of when I thought my life changed permanently. I live in a small town with my parents and my younger brother Benjamin on a farm. There really isn't anyone around to communicate or socialize, the nearest neighbor we have is about thirty minutes away from us. Since we do live far away from the city i'm homeschooled, but maybe one day when i'm older i'll be placed in a real school. However, this is not the time because right now it's time to tell my story. We have had this garden for quite some time maybe even generations from great grandparents and on. It's always been there since I was born and it looks magical and marvelous, but this one bright yellow shiny sunflower stood out to me. It had seem like the flower was glowing, so the curiosity of me took advantage and I touched the flower. I suddenly felt strange and sick at the same time, but I figured it was my allergies starting to begin. I went back into my blue ranch house and sat in my comfy bedroom staring at the ceiling while wondering to myself why I felt this way. What made me sick? I said to myself. I brushed it off and went back outside, but no I couldn't I rushed to the bathroom throwing up and groaning in pain, perhaps I was allergic to something. Suddenly I awoke, but I myself was confused. The place, the house everything was different! There was this window and that's when I realized this place doesn't look familiar to me at all and suddenly my sickness went away. This whole situation made me feel scared and worried. Was this a dream? Finding out where the exit was to this room I was in it took me outside where most people were. Everything was in a different language things I've never even learned before. A guy with a black moustache and fancy brown suit was passing out newspaper to the community. The newspaper read ''News In Lebanon''. NO WAY, I said to myself this cannot be happening! I was nowhere near home I was all the way across the earth! There goes me panicking thinking how I'm going to get back home. The language is different I can't communicate with people and tell them how I ended up here i'll sound nonsense. A kind blonde lady asks me ''son, are you okay'', which I replied ''yes I am'' and walked away. I've realized if I'm in another country why not get the chance to explore it, but before I got to that thought police officers charging at me and yelling with their deep voices ''GET HIM!''. Confused as I was, my inner self told me to run and never look back until it was safe, which is what I ended up doing. It felt like I was running a marathon. The sky was turning dark and there was nowhere to stay. Maybe me being here to them made them feel like a threat or maybe I was a criminal to them after all I'm not sure how I ended up here. There was this alley with garbage and it wasn't in the great condition, but that's where I ended up staying for the night on the hard cold cement. There I am waking up with my loud obnoxious stomach asking for some food, but seeing the gorgeous sunset took my mind off of food. This still concerned me because where will I get this food without being a ''criminal''. I can't just starve myself . Even though I was in pain from this cement floor I got up and starting walking to the nearest food place. All these places and my eleven year old self couldn't understand anything. I've never done this before, but I walked into a grocery store, took somethings and hid it under my wasted green jacket. Speed walking towards the exit there's this suspicious guy looking at me. I get goosebumps and just run off trying to not make it noticeable. Honestly, all the things I stole were very delicious and much needed. Anywho, Lebanon seems like a cool place to visit. The beaches, the buildings it all reminds me of back home where my city is. Now that I'm looking at all of this it's really just making me homesick, like where is my family they deserve to be here with me. I'm walking on the beach thinking about how much I miss my hilarious brother. That's when I hear an extreme loud gunshot it almost sounded like a firework, but no that gunshot hit me. Then, I wake up to the blinds being opened with bright light coming through in a hospital bed. That's when I hear my mom saying ''He's awake from his coma''. Confused as I was, apparently everything was all in my head. I guess I hit the ground too hard from falling and went into a coma.
