6 Weeks After Steve Went Into The Ice
Peggy Carter was at the SSR when she started to feel nauseous again just like this morning. She let's Chief Dooley know that she isn't feeling well and he lets her go home early. On her way back home she stops by a store and picks up a pregnancy test. After remembering the night before Steve went into the ice. Once home, she goes straight to the bathroom and takes the test. 5 minutes later, she goes back to the bathroom and checks the test. She looks at the test and it says "Pregnant." She smiles and calls Colonel Phillips, Howard Stark and the Howling Commandos to let them know the news.
12 Weeks Later (October 3, 1945
Peggy is 3 1/2 months pregnant and her bump is barely showing. Today, the day she finds out the gender of her baby. Colonel Chester Phillips had flown from Camp Lehigh in New Jersey to go to the appointment with her. While Howard Stark had flown from Malibu to also go to the appointment. So right now she, Howard and Phillips were in the car talking about a new agency they wanted to start up for post war time called SHIELD. When they arrived to the hospital the trio was able to walk straight back into the ultrasound room. 30 minutes later, Peggy found out she was having a baby girl. The trio left the hospital.
Over the next 6 months
Peggy was still working at the SSR but had been put on desk duty since she was pregnant. Also because she, Howard and Colonel Phillips were working with Chief Dooley to slowly change the SSR to SHIELD at this rate it would be about December 4, 1946 before the SSR was all SHIELD. Over those months whenever someone asked where the father was she would say either he died in the war or that he is fighting for his country. Only she, Howard Stark, Colonel Phillips and the Howling Commandos knew the truth and that was that her baby's father had died when he was forced to crash the Valkyrie into the icey artic.
Finally on April 3,1946 at 11:30 am, her water broke. She quickly called Colonel Phillips and he came and picked her up and quickly drove her to the ER. 12 hours later at 11:30pm on April 3, 1946, Daisy Skylar Stephanie Carter-Rogers, daughter of Captain America (the father was listed as unknown to the public) and Peggy Carter was brought into the world.
Immediately Peggy named Howard Stark godfather while her best friend Angela "Angie" Martellini was made the godmother. Also Peggy promised herself to protect Daisy with everything she knew and Howling Commandos, Howard and Colonel Phillips also promised that.
