Sorry for the long wait I've had one week of school and now I have homework every night. I'm gonna start updating on the weekends. (Sorry for the suspense;) ) this chapter is full of action and we'll see a little more of James. Unedited! Proceed with caution.

5. Attacked

I woke up and was in total darkness.

My eyes soon adjusted and I remembered where I was.

The kidnappers! Oh no!

Wait, I forgot I did drink a werewolf's blood last night.

Maybe I was dreaming! I reached up to where my fangs would be, unwillingly my fangs shot out and cut my finger.

"Shoot!"

Whoever was sleeping on the bed shifted and moaned.

With that I got up and tried to find the bathroom.

When my bladder was about to burst, I found a door and walked in the room. I felt tiles under my feet and closed the door I reached for the light-switch and found it a bit higher than usual. It was made of something other than plastic and it burned my fingers.

I looked closer and saw that it was made of silver, "ha ha! Nice joke." I said to myself running my hand under the cold water from the sink.

Eventually I got to pee and walked out of the bathroom, touching the light-switch with a rag.

When I came out whoever was in the bed was still asleep, so I walked out into the hallway and was blinded by light. The sun was shining from all the windows.

'What the heck' why is no one awake? Oh yeah they're vampires.

I walked downstairs and wanted to get out of the house. I was about to open the front door when someone asked from behind, "what are you doing?" I took them as Amin.

Busted! "I'm going out. I'll see you at dusk."

When I walked out I was on the sidewalk of a busy street. I looked around and knew I was on the square instantly, "ha, I would think the kidnapper's house would be in the middle of nowhere."

I walked down the street getting strange looks from people being barefoot and all. Being me I looked at them the same way and they would check themselves over. A few even pulled out compact mirrors. I decided to go home and I couldn't walk, like literally I was trying to step in but my mind didn't allow it. I knocked on the door and my grandmother appeared.

"Oh Simone how has your week been with Lucious?"

"Week," I practically yelled, "it's been two days!"

"No, did Drake knock you out?"

"Yeah," I said remembering the first day.

"That's why he can knock you out for up to a year it must have been shortened." She said and my jaw dropped.

"I'm gonna hit him with another chair just to teach him whose boss," I said to myself mostly, but my grandmother heard it.

"You hit him with a chair," she asked, "never mind tell me everything!"

I told her the stories and she laughed at the chair incident and all through the werewolf conversations. I swear she should have passed out by now.

I left with a bag full of my stuff and all savings. I borrowed my grandfather's car for the time being.

"Be careful and don't be too mean to Lucious," she called as I walked out, "he's a good boy."

I left and went straight to the grocery store considering I didn't see any food at the kidnapper's place.

I got my shampoo and conditioner, scented like Jasmine. I love that scent.

I got a gallon of brownie fudge ice cream. I got some snacks and other food for supper, the last thing I got was...BACON!

Who doesn't like bacon so I got three packs of already cooked, since I tend to burn bacon a lot.

I walked to my car and there were barely any people here which I didn't mind. I put all seven bags in the trunk. I was putting my basket in the basket return center, when I felt a presence behind me.

I turned to find James.

"Shit," I muttered he started to walk in front of me.

I took two steps back with each one he took.

Then a thought came to mind, you're a vampire turn and run!

I turned and run going faster than ever. I had to go slower so I wouldn't trip. I came to a cross walk and he caught up to me. He threw me over his shoulder I couldn't think for a moment so I screamed. I then remembered a trick Louise taught me. I grabbed his belt yanking it up and slung myself out of his hold, to do a front walkover sort of thing, and landed on my feet.

I took off running and stopped at bridge cause he yanked my hair back. I kicked him in the nibbles and it seemed to affect him a lot more than I expected it to. I laughed and tried to run away as he clutched his jewels.

I tripped un expectantly when he grabbed my ankle. I went tumbling over the edge.

"Please let there be water down there," I prayed quietly before I hit whatever was at the bottom. At least God still loved me I hit the water hard and it knocked the breath out of me.

I sank down to the bottom before I registered what was happening. I swam to the surface and gasped for air.

Something pulled me back under and I screamed. I tugged at my foot until I couldn't breath anymore. I reached down and bit whatever had me. It yanked back and I swam to the bank as fast as I could.

I started coughing when I pulled myself up onto dry land.

My foot was hurting severely and had blood running in a thick flow coming out.

"Alright princess?" James asked me while grabbing my shirt forward, then throwing me on the ground.

"No," I said.

He got on his knees and tried to stab, or more like stake me with a silver sharp stake.

I held his hand with one hand while the other searched for something. I took the chance and looked for a sharp stick, just as I grabbed one he staked me in my upper abdominal area.

It burned like crazy an I screamed really loud. We thrashed around on the bank for a while and he stabbed my leg with the stake.

It took all my strength to roll on top of him and stab him right in the heart. He went instantly still and the light left his eyes.

I checked my injuries and found that I has cuts down my arms and legs, not counting my stake wound, my ankle was hurting worse and my chest was burning like crazy.

I got up and stumbled back to the parking lot, still coughing up water and blood.

I got in the car and drove back to the kidnapper's place.

I grabbed my groceries, and walked in the door it was twelve A.M. So the streets were clear.

As soon as I walked in Lucious rushed over, "where have you been."

"I went grocery shopping," I said holding up the bags. "Duh!"

"Oh my," he looked at me, "what happened."

"I'm fine will you take some of these bags I'm not feeling so good," I said and fainted right into the arms of the guy that kidnapped me once again."
