Third person:
Betty sung quietly to the music playing on the radio as she looked through the closet to find a cute outfit. Hmm would she like this? Betty thought to herself. It was an important night for Betty she was about to ask [y/n] a very important question. As she tightened her perky ponytail she couldn't help but think happy thoughts about the two of you. As she looked into her mirror she smiled to herself as she looked at the photo of you two when you were younger that hung proudly on the frame  of the mirror."what are you doing" Betty's mother asked curiously as she applied more makeup than usual. She wanted to impress you. "Im going out mom" Betty responded as she put away her mascara in a casual tone "oh and whom my I ask is this" Her mother said in a slightly stuck up tone that all mothers have used "just a friend mom" Betty bent the truth with ease "mhm I don't believe your telling the full truth" her mom said " whelp I'm going anyways mom" Betty said slipping on some shoes that matched her outfit. Betty grabbed her purse and past her mom.
At pops shop
"So anyways how has the blue and gold been doing" [y/n] giggled as she sipped her chocolate milkshake "it's been good actually I work with this guy named Jughead he's okay I guess I mean he's really the opposite of me and doesn't really talk a lot so gets kind of boring in there" Betty replied as she looked [y/n] in the eyes thinking of all the many memories they would have together and how many more adventures they would take "oh that seems interesting maybe I could work with you in the blue in gold" [y/n] asked just so she could spend more time with Betty "yes that would be amazing". Betty smiled as she took as sip from her milkshake. Since the glass was so tall and straws were so short Betty got a little whipped cream on her nose "oops you got a little something right here" [y/n] said brushing her own nose "do i really" Betty said brushing the bridge of her nose " did I get ?" Betty said checking her finger to see if anything came off "nope lemme get it" [y/n]said reaching over the long table and wiped Betty's nose "there all better" [y/n] said smiling  wiping the whipped cream on a paper towel "thanks" Betty said smiling nows my chance. Betty thought mustering all her courage to asked the question "so um [y/n] I've been thinking and I um like you..." Betty said slowly playing with the hem of her pink and white shirt "well um what I am trying to say is will you uh be my girlfriend.." Betty said trying tube confident. After a couple of moments Betty got the answer she was waiting so long to hear out loud "Elizabeth Cooper I would be delighted" [y/n] smiled brightly at Betty "really oh my gosh I thought you would say no" Betty said tearing up. After the two walked hand in hand down their neighbor hood Betty waltzed into her house with a dreamy look on her face and ignored her mom complaining how Betty missed curfew by two minutes. Betty took off her makeup and outfit and slipped into her pajamas. She flopped on her bed giggling and replaying the scene in her head over and over again smiling each time she thought about the answer [y/n] gave. Soon Betty fell to sleep dreaming about how many fun things you guys would do together
