I. The Preists Son.

Running around the church's courtyard, a six year old boy laughed as he was chased by an older man, just barely out of his teens. The man laughed as he grabbed the boy and yelled,"I got you, now let's go get you cleaned, (Y/N)!"

The little boy, (Y/N), squealed in enjoyment, thrashing around in the man's hands before calming down, still grinning. He grabbed the mans shoulders to hold himself. (Y/N) looked at the man, before asking,"Could we go to the park tomorrow, Kai?" Kai shrugged as he placed (Y/N) down, holding his hand.

"I don't know. How about you ask your father?" (Y/N) nodded quickly, running as he dragged Kai with him. Kai quickly picked up his pace, smiling at the little boy's excitement. Approaching the nave of the church, (Y/N) let go of Kai's hand as he saw his father. His father was at the church doors, where he had an furious look in his face.

Slowing his pace down, (Y/N) quietly approached his father, walking behind him enough to see what was outside the doors. His eyes widened at a little boy, who looked angry, gripping his mother's skirt, who was talking to your father very rudely.

Staring at the boy, (Y/N) noticed his red eyed and blonde hair. He waved his hands to try and get the boy's attention, the first person he's seen that was his age this close. The boy turned his eyes, meeting (Y/N)'s, before tugging on his mother's skirt, tight in his grip.

Pausing, she looked down at her son, before catching (Y/N), who stared wide eyed. He waved at the woman, before she turned her gaze back to his father,"And what about your son! What if he gets a quirk? Are you going to hit him like you almost hit my son?!"

(Y/N) furrowed his brows, looking at his father. Glaring at the woman, his father said,"I will take care of that, it is none of your business. Now if you excuse me, I'm asking you to leave the premises." (Y/N) felt his body jerk back, before being lifted into the air. Kai picked him up and mumbled,"Let's go,"

(Y/N) kept his eyes on the boy, who held a strong look in his eyes. He never went outside the church, his father forbidding it, and the only friend he had was Kai, but he was too old. So seeing a boy around his age was a new sight to (Y/N). Turning his head, he asked Kai,"Why can't I go outside?" Kai hesitated, before saying,"I would ask your father that."

(Y/N) nodded, before hearing the church doors slam. He turned his head at his father before Kai turned the corner, eyes widening as he saw his father had a bright red check in the shape of a hand.

(Y/N) drew on the back of the coloring book, all the pages already colored in, no space left. There was a knock at his door, and he looked up to see his father, a cup held in his hand. (Y/N) sat up tall, as his father sat on the edge of his bed. "Father," he started. "I was wondering if I could go to the park with Kai tomorrow?" His father looked up at this, raising a brow. "Why would you want that, son?"

(Y/N) shrugged, saying,"I want a friend to play with." Father looked at the door, asking,"What's wrong with Kai?" (Y/N) shook his head, saying,"Kai is awesome! But I want a friend my age. Like the boy from earlier!" His father turned and had his lips pressed tightly together. "No." (Y/N) looked up, slightly confused. "What?" "I said no,"

(Y/N) looked down, asking,"But why? I just want a friend-" his father stood up quickly, raising his voice as he screamed,"I said no! Listen, you idiot!" (Y/N)'s eyes widened, eyes burning as he teared up. His father has never raised his voice at him before.

His father glared as he went to exit the room, quickly swinging the door, leaving a small crack. Hiccuping, (Y/N) started to cry as his body shook. Hearing a knock on the door, he quickly rubbed at his eyes, trying to stop his crying. Opening the door slowly, Kai came in with a concerned look on his face.

"Hey, sport, what's wrong?" (Y/N) started to let the tears fall, before he said,"I-I asked dad, and he screamed at me. And I-I don't know what I did wrong!" He rubbed at his nose and sobbed. Kai quickly embraced him in a hug, shushing him and trying to calm him down.

(Y/N) didn't know what happened, but as Kai hugged him, everything went silent, Kai suddenly threw himself off of (Y/N), holding his ear. His hearing slowly went back to him, as (Y/N) listened to Kai scream in pain. His father ran in the room, holding Kai as he cried.

(Y/N) watched in silence as he watched Kai hold his ear, before he screamed in shock watching a lot of blood start escaping Kai's hand, from his ear.
