I tried to do my best

To replace the best person you know

But I am not enough.

I tried to do my best

To cover the sorrow you feel

But it's not enough.

I tried to do my best

To remove the pain you feel when she won't talk to you

But I will never be enough.

I tried to do my best

To make you realize that I can do it too!

That I can do what she did to you to make you feel that she's the best.

That I can love you the way she did.

But how can I do it when you don't want me to?
