Roxy's Story #3: Yugi(Discontinued)

Yami and Yugi

[AUTHOR'S NOTE: Before we begin I would like to let you know that this is based off of Toei's version of Yu-gi-oh (misinterpreted as season 0), also if you see anything that I may have gotten wrong please inform me politely. I don't know much about Japan's culture, so if I say something wrong I'm sorry, there may be a bit of Kazuki's version of yu-gi-oh mixed in, but I've talked enough, let's begin] ("n" = normal speech. Yugi's POV

[2 years later]

I was heading to the arcade since it was the weekend and I had nothing else to do. *little one, pay attention to your surroundings. That's the second time a car almost hit you.* 《calm down Yami, it's not my fault they ran a red light》 I was too busy talking to Yami that I didn't notice the hand reaching out to me until I was yanked into an alleyway and thrown against a wall. I looked up to see a man. "Give me everything of value you have or I'll slit your throat" the man growled. "I don't have any money" I whimpered. He yanked my puzzle from around my neck "no! Give it back" I screamed trying to get my puzzle away from him. He kneed me in the stomach before grabbing me by my neck and slamming me against the wall. I struggled to get away but he was larger and stronger than me.

Yami's POV

I could only watch as the man beat my little light, as long as the puzzle wasn't around Yugi's neck I couldn't take over. I quickly grabbed Yugi's phone and texted Jonouchi

Yami: Yugi's in danger, no time to ask questions just get over here and help him

Jonouchi: I'm coming, hold on

Jonouchi appeared out of nowhere and jumped onto the man forcing him to release Yugi. "Stay away from my bud" Jonouchi yelled. Anza soon appeared as well she gently picked up Yugi. After the man fled knowing he was outnumbered, Jonouchi picked up the puzzle and placed it around Yugi's neck. "Ok, let's get Yuge to the hospital than you have a lot of explaining to do" Jonouchi said. 'I will explain everything soon enough' I thought.

As long as my little hikari was unconscious I couldn't take over to explain everything to Jonouchi, instead I picked up Yugi's phone and texted him

Yami: I should begin explaining things

Jonouchi looked at his phone then towards Yugi's phone then back at his phone.

Jonouchi's POV

I was sitting in a chair on the side of the bed facing the window when suddenly my phone buzzed alerting me that I had a text. It was from Yugi's phone, but Yugi was asleep.

Yugi: I should begin explaining things

I stared confused when I received another text

Yugi: I'm Yugi's other

So Yugi wasn't kidding when he said he felt another presence within him

Jonouchi: ok, what should I call you?

Yugi: like I told Yugi and Anzu, you can call me Yami

Jonouchi: do you not have a real name?

Yami: I can't remember anything about my past, only things that occurred after Yugi completed the puzzle

Jonouchi: oh, well do you at least know where you lived

Yami: I only know I was a pharaoh from ancient Egypt and before you ask, I was a kind hearted king loved by my subjects, I remember that I sacrificed my life to save my kingdom

Jonouchi: you sound like an amazing king, are you the type to put the safety of others above your own

Yami: yes and from what I've seen so does Yugi

Jonouchi: that's true but sometimes that causes him to want to deal with problems alone so we don't get hurt, it's frustrating

Yami: I know how you feel, I'm the one supposed to protect Yugi but sometimes he doesn't allow me to, Yugi can't handle everything alone but he insists to.

Jonouchi: we should probably get some sleep

Yami: guess you're right, good night

Jonouchi: good night

[Next morning]

Yami's POV

*Yugi, are you awake* 《no, I'm sleeping with my eyes open》 *Haha very funny * 《take me home please》 *are you giving me permission to take over* 《yes》 I took over, I just walked into the game shop like I owned the place. 'Yugi is going to chew me out for that'. "Yugi, are you here" Anzu asked walking into our room without asking. "Anzu, what the fuck, you don't just walk into someone's room without asking" I yelled "oh, Yami. Sorry, Yugi usually doesn't mind" Anzu replied. 'That's because Yugi has a crush on you and secretly hopes you walk in on him naked' I thought but Yugi would die from embarrassment if I told Anzu. She must have noticed the smirk on my face because she was looking at me confused. "Sorry, I was just thinking about something" I replied. I could feel Yugi trying to take back control and decided to let him.

Yugi's POV

Anzu looked upset when I took over 'wait, does Anzu have feelings for Yami' "Yugi?" Anzu stared at him concerned. I faked a smile "yeah?" 'I can't keep pretending, I must get her to leave' "I should get to sleep, see you tomorrow" I responded. Anzu said goodbye before leaving. *are you ok little one?* 《how can I be ok, Anzu likes you not me》 *I'm sorry aibou, just know that my heart goes for you and you alone* 《I know, you practically radiate affection for me》 *and you for me, forget Anzu, she doesn't understand what she's missing out on* 《awww, I can't believe I could have missed out on you》 *now it's time to sleep aibou* 《ok》

[The next morning]

I happily walked into to my class, animal control had picked up the dog yesterday and I found my forever partner last night. Today was going to be great. "Well, you seem cheerful today, more than usual. Did something happen" asked Anzu. "Hehe, ya I found my forever partner" Anzu looked confused "what, who?" She asked curious. I smirked knowing my answer would shock her "you know him, he's rescued you more times than I can count" she nearly choked on her orange juice "Yami?!" She more demanded than asked. I looked to my right, where Yami stood smirking "yep, I realised how much I love him, he's the only person who has been there when I need him" I responded.
